After weeks of practising, the showtime finally comes. Today is the first day of the Winter Tournament.
Usually, people don't arrange team fights yet. The judges would decide what competition to do in order to eliminate unpromising teams first. Because no one would take a bunch of time just to watch clowns killing each other.
"Wisteria, are you nervous?". Amy tapped on Esserine's shoulder.
"Huh? What?". Esserine was zoning out. She still kept thinking about what she had heard a few days ago.
"Are you okay?". Amy seemed worried about her.
"Yes, I am". Esserine nodded gently.
"Are you sure about that?". Melania spoke up. "You seem to be in a bad mood today".
"Last weekend, you still looked nice enough". Jean mocked Esserine. "Now you're exactly like a walking corpse".
"I just had a bad day". Esserine scratched the back of her head. "I promise I'll be fine, don't worry about me".
"I'm worried about the future of our team". Jean loved making fun of people as always.
