"Where am I?" - Kayden started to examine the surroundings.
The only thing that he remembers is after he got hit by Lucas, he somehow fainted away.
Now he wakes up in the middle of nowhere, it's pitch black, no light, no one, only the bouncing sound waves. However, there's water in here, it's shallow. Kayden is absolutely confused and fearful, but he still remains calm. What a brave boy.
"Hello my child". An unknown voice spoke. "You must be the last one of the Phianohre right?".
"Who, who are you????". Kayden tried to look around to find out who that was. "Where am I?".
"I am Amphitrite, the Goddess of the Ocean". The unknown voice introduced itself. "You have been chosen to know about this prophecy".
"This is your own mind, somewhere deep in your mind". Amphitrite continued. "Sorry for forcing you to come here, things are just important".
"Amphitrite? Mother of all sea creatures, please tell me". Kayden worriedly asked. "What's the prophecy about?".
A woman gradually appears out of shallow water, she is giant and gorgeous. Her hair is light as the moonlight, her eyes are blue as the sea, and her skin is white as salt. A lot of flying fishes are moving around her. She wears a watery dress, you can still see currents of water cover her whole body. She has a mermaid tail and on the back are coral wings. She looks lenient and graceful.
"Listen, the Keeper of the Sea Temple, Kayden Phianohre". Amphitrite turned her eyes to the void, a magic mirror slowly appeared. "Remember everything from today 's meeting".
The Prophecy:
Gods and Goddesses have received an ultimate message from the universe. They and their humans will have to go through a challenge. Humans these days are just unacceptable, the creator of all wants to erase everything and remake it. The creator of all will send their pawns to the earth. If deities and their beloved creatures could survive this hardship, then they'll give everyone more time to fix the problem on earth.
Right now, deities don't know what they'll send, nevertheless, everyone knows that it's not going to be a piece of cake. Because the Wrath of the Creator cannot be described by words, sounds, pictures, or anything.
They also predict that maybe some of the lost ones will follow the order of the Creator. These people have nothing to lose, they just accept their fate. So that's why they choose to help the "Pawn". No one is wrong and no one is right. Everyone has their own path to go.
As a celestial soldier, Kayden has the right to know about this. But it's his own will to decide which path he'll follow. He can be central, not involved in the war, or he can join it and pick a side. Whatever, the Mother of all Sea Creatures still loves him. Because becoming a Keeper of the most destructive artifact means withdrawing the mortal part. Being a celestial entity is difficult. Kayden will be immortal, he can't die, he will have to witness each of his beloved ones pass away.
What can he do? Kayden promised to his mother that he'll inherit the might of his family. He promised to his mother when she breathed her last.
His whole family sacrificed themselves to seal the destructive artifact alongside with other mystic creature families. To honor them, to show his gratitude, and to see his mother again, Kayden has to become a celestial one.
What a tragic story for such a little one.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kayden finally wakes up. The first thing that he sees is a lot of people.
"Kayden is opening his eyes!!!". Maria shouted happily. "Everyone looks!!!".
"Lower your volume, we are in the Clinic". Adelphia glared at Maria.
"You good?". Esserine said calmly. "How was the other world?".
"Oh my head". Kayden blinked leisurely.
"The high technologic system was supposed to protect you from getting injured". Phoebe was typing on her laptop. "How can you fall into a coma?".
"Yeah it's kinda weird to think about it". Lucas casually spoke.
"Whatever, let's not give a shit about it". Maria smiled. "Be joyful when our Supporter is still alive".
Seems like Maria does really like Kayden as a good friend. The band teacher complains that Kayden and Maria talk too much in the class. And guess who has to hear it everyday from him? Dr. Burggraf. She's tired, but what can she do now? Use a shut up spell? No, as a good woman, she's too lazy to do that.
"Let's go eat guys, I'm hungry". Maria stood up. "Phoebe, I know that you're poor so I'll pay for you".
"You don't need to". Phoebe timorously refused.
"Accept, then go, or you'll see the brightest sun in the world burning you to death". Maria shut Phoebe's mouth right away.
"You're right". Esserine leaned on the wall. "Let's go to the cafeteria".
"Noooo, I mean going to the restaurant". Maria turned her eyes to Esserine. "It's 5 o' clock already, the canteen is closed".
"Oh yeah, I forgot about it". Lucas just realized something.
"Do you know any good restaurants, Maria?". Adelphia was checking her MPhone.
"Not yet, I mean I have a lot, but mostly they are so fancy, I'm afraid that people in there won't allow y'all to walk in". Maria mocked everyone at the same time.
"Well then, come to my place". Esserine looked at the wooden clock on the wall. "My family owns a restaurant, just a casual one".
"Let me get dressed first". Kayden got up.
"We'll wait for you outside". Phoebe went out, followed by everyone except Kayden.
"Okay sure … " - Kayden was deep in his thoughts about the prophecy.
"What should I do?"
