"Today, as a mark of our beginning, we'll learn more about the most typical scanning spell first". The teacher introduced the lesson herself to the class. "I am Lorey Bailey, but calling me Professor Bailey is enough".
"Today you all are learning about Pellego, a higher level of Reperio". Professor Bailey walked around the class. "As y'all know, Reperio allows us to scan objects and living beings that are weaker than us in power".
"However, Pellego will allow us to know about its history and hidden secrets" - The Professor came to her table and grabbed a candle.
"Now you guys should be able to see the prehistoric box that I placed on the round table right in the middle of the class". She lit the purple candle. "Watch me".
" Scientia et sapientia, spatium et tempus, de hac re sciam. indica mihi quale sit. Sic erit!"
Out of sudden, a mystical smoke arises from the candle flame. It moves around the classroom and lands on the ancient box.
"Pellego". Professor Bailey chanted.
A magic circle forms right under the box, then a purple screen religiously appears on the object. It is like a portal but it's more like a mirror. It shows us all about the box. How was it created and by. It shows the history of the old box. The spell goes through time and space, achieves the knowledge and reveals to us secrets that we don't know yet.
"Abigo". The screen disappeared and the magic circle faded away. Professor Bailey blew out the candle. "Now this is your first project of the year. Practice Pellego and present it to me on the first day of the second week".
"How the f*ck am I going to pass this assignment?" - Maria looked in the eyes of Esserine, she whispered in confusion.
"That was only a middle level spell, how are you going to understand the grimoire without understanding this first project?" - Esserine calmly replied.
"Who did you learn the mocking skills from?". Maria questioned like WTF was happening.
"You. I'm a fast learner". Esserine answered humorously.
"Fulgeo". The Professor quickly flashed to Maria and Esserine's table. "Please be quiet girls, y'all can chat later after class period".
"Yes ma'am" - They both replied at the same time. Professor Bailey scared away their tiny souls.
"Ladies and gentlemen, please take out the notebook". Professor Bailey was walking back to her table while checking the whole class. "To start the semester, as always, we need to create our own Book of Shadow".
"You have today and tomorrow to finish it" - Professor Bailey brought out a well made example. "You can get ideas from my Book of Shadow, nevertheless, don't copy it".
Her Book of Shadow, it is designed in fairy core style. It has flower petals and butterfly wings decorations around the cover. Inside, these pages are dyed with vintage colours. Each page of the book is written neatly, it has candle magic chapter, color magic chapter, crystal magic chapter, and herbs magic chapter, …. And many different things too.
Her Book of Shadow is so awesome!
"I hate fairies" - Esserine coldly expressed her thoughts.
"The only time that I agree with you, I rather burn them to death than watch those glittering forces flying" - Maria's eye turned red.
"But by wearing colorful outfits, you'll attract more fairies. Then why did you dress like it?" - Esserine looked at Maria from up to down.
"I know, am I an excellent trap right?"
Maria's answer makes Esserine go into speechless mode.
Esserine doesn't say anything more, she draws out the sketch book from nowhere and starts to design her Book of Shadow. Her style mostly is all about skulls and darkness. Nearly all the guys in Oglourine Academy call her by the terrific name 'Queen of Darkness'.
Maria's idea is more girly. She sketches out stickers of her favorite boy band. Esserine directly observes that whole process. Maria smiles wickedly like she is thinking of some inappropriate thoughts.
"Is that UNITE??" - Esserine asked curiously.
"Wait, are you a fan of them too???" - Maria's eyes turned to Esserine brightly.
"No, they're lame…."
"Ooh bitch you're dead"
Before Esserine can finish her sentence, Maria cracks the table with her own fist.
"Frigid Gun". Maria jumped on the table and pointed her hand at Esserine.
"Shadow Shield". Esserine harnessed her power and created a veil in front of her.
The fight wouldn't have happened if the Professor didn't leave the classroom.
Esserine backs off and returns a Shadow Ball, Maria calls on an Ice Pillar to block Esserine's attack.
"Why do you even need to fight? It was just a boy band". Esserine thought she could calm her by saying this.
"No, they are my LIFE"
"Inferno Blaze!"
The whole classroom blew up, everyone ran out of the room chaotically.
"Shadow Winds". Esserine pushed Maria to the firm wall. Then she quickly used "Shadow Chains" to lock her up.
"GET ME OUT OF HERE" - Maria screamed when Professor Bailey stepped in.
"Tace". Professor Bailey casted silent spell on Maria. She asked Esserine: "What is happening in my dear home?!"
"I dislike her favorite boy band and then she started hitting me with her ability. So I fought back". Esserine swiftly reported.
"Was it true Maria?" - Professor Bailey looked deep in the eye of Maria.
Maria nodded angrily.
"I was defending myself". Esserine was trying to explain.
"Enough!". Professor Bailey pushed the emergency button. "You can debate with office people, not me".
"Yes ma'am" - Esserine said.
"Maria is such a drama queen. I hate her". Esserine thought.
Now she's preparing words and proofs to win the conversation with officers. If her father knows about this problem, she'll be dead.
About Maria, she has nothing to be afraid about except her mom. Her dad is totally fine, he'll just use money to solve everything. Her mom definitely will give her a lecture after she gets home.
Specialist rapidly handles everything, while the supervisor comes up and takes care of Maria and Esserine.
"Oh my dear". Professor Bailey watched everyone distinguish fire in her class.
Professor Bailey's room is now a mess. Tables and stuff are totally destroyed by Maria's explosion. Things are disordered because of Esserine's Shadow Winds.
All of these decorations took Lorey Bailey about 2 weeks to prepare and plenty of money to buy too.
Mrs. Bailey just can't witness such a cruel scene. She faints out.
