Finally my fucking Mate.
My mind is on replay as I think of her soft long tail and stunning hazel green eyes imprinted in my soul.
My legs move on their own accord as I go to follow my mate out the door, Tobias snarling in irritation at me for letting her go. But as I move to go after her, a low cold voice dripping in amusement stops me in my tracks.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you." My head snapped towards the guy who had been sitting with my Mate when I found her. My lips raise in a snarl on matches by a deep growl at his subtle challenge, my wolf growing restless. His smile deepens as he raised his hands in surrender. "Just a friend. A friend that's here to tell you, you are NOT going to have an easy time with Chloe. And you shouldn't follow her." Ignoring his cold amusement, electricity is shot down my spine at the mention of her name.
