"Hey Your Majesty - - over here!!" I heard a familiar voice behind me as I am fidgeting to look for seats for both me and Asmodeus.
"Keith--where have you been?" I question my friend who's in Vartila's black military attire as I am surprised because he and all the soldiers I had in my care suddenly up and vanished.
"Calm down - - My Liege."
"Huh?" Asmodeus who has been looking at us in awkward way speaks up ;
"Can me and my darling sit there? ," this time it was Keith in shock.
"Huh?"
He looks questionably at his ruler and nods having accepted reality as Aine and Asmodeus take the two unoccupied seats next to him.
Aine looks around and sees another familiar instrument, "Keith, isn't that a communication rune?"
Vartila wasn't developed in leisure activities like theaters, movie watching and all the other cool stuff but it was developed in the study of runes.
In this world, runes are sources of magic instilled in our bodies since birth and these runes had a single ability in a human's body with no limits to their use.
The particularly selfish king was examined after birth and it was said that he had no rune in his body which was a peculiar discovery.
We all looked at the TV monitor which was what it was actually called, unbeknownst to the people of Vartila only.
[Major Rules of The Killing Games]
[Any match can be ended by killing your opponent or if any opponent gives up the match because of being too weak to defeat an opponent to save his/her life]
[No one is allowed to interfere in any match as the penalty is death by execution]
"So it's time for this game of dea--" Keith spoke in a cold tone as I wondered how exactly he knew about the killing games, but then his words of terror were replaced by the capitalized bold words on the communication rune.
