Chapter 6 - The Disaster

"What happened to my strength and agility?! They were a lot more last night?" "Because those were for the 'Night Dagger', it gave you the bonus strength and agility and all.. you are pretty much nothing without your 'Night Dagger'"

"Does that means...whenever I am not using my daggers... my stats will get decrease?" "Isn't that obvious, Sorren?"

Soren was a little sad after he heard that but he saw that he has skills also which he has never seen before...

"I have skills also now"

"Test them"

Sorren tries to use rush time and then he sees that the fish in the lake and the birds kinda slowed down "Slowing down the time for me? that's quite the skill" and then tried to use Focus skill but nothing seems to work out.

Asten spoke up "You don't have any special bonus and you are not using your Dagger also that it will give bonuses."

"What does this skill even do? that it needs bonuses to work?" "This skill is actua-" *rustle*

Sorren felt like he heard something from the bushes "Asten did you hear that?"

"Yes, I did"

Sorren thought of checking that place and so he moved closer to that area and slowly pushed aside the bushes and suddenly a thing hopped towards him.

"Ouch, my head was that." and he saw that was a girl who seemed to be the same age as him. She was quite pretty as considered of her age... bright blue eyes, quite fair and her hair was long and smooth...

"Wait a girl? why there is a girl?"

She said "agh...why you don't walk carefully, you bumped into so hard"

"Who are you saying that too! You are the one who should be careful and home come you are here?".

That girl seems to be lost..." Actually I got separated from my family and lost in this forest" Sorren thought that this girl was quite brave because according to him girls like her would cry if they got lost and can't find their way back.

"If you are from here...is there anything here that I can go there?"

"Umm, there is a base if you walk towards that direction, Shall I take you there?"

The girl was quite feeling safe when Sorren said that he would take her to that base which was nearby "Yes, sure!"

They both started to walk towards the base and soon enough Sorren smelled something burning and some scream.

"What the hell is going on!" Sorren rushed towards his base and the girl doesn't know what to do so she also ran with him.

Sorren remembered the worst nightmare he could imagine was when he was only five years old because right in front of him his base was burning and people from the base were screaming...

"No, this can't be happening!"

"Hey, you girl...stay here!" Sorren moved closer to his base and saw that there was a gang of UE Fighter..."Kill them all!"

It was totally the same which happened when he was five years old. "Sorren! What are you doing here, RUN AWAY FROM HERE!" one of the people shouted at him...Sorren thought nothing but decided to help his one-only family now.

"Kill that bastard now."

"Yes, sir" and one of those UE fighters pulled out their sword and trusted it into that guy's chest *KUGH*

"NO, I WILL NOT LET THIS HAPPEN AGAIN!" Asten spoke up

"Don't go there you will get killed by them"

"I don't care!"

"Ah, what a stubborn a kid...nothing can be done, I will take over skill system then"

"Do whatever you want"

Sorren held his dagger firmly in his hands and ran towards the UE Fighter who killed a person in front of him.

"What the heck is up with this kid! How come he is this fast!" that guy tried to attack Sorren but because of his Skill 'Rush time' his reflexes are way faster than before.

He jumps towards him and the UE Fighter saw that enormous lighting energy started coming out of his dagger.

"Damn it! How come a kid has an element!"

He tried to defend using his spear then Sorren strikes down with full force and because of the extreme lighting energy, he was able to cut the spear in half and destroy the front side of the BW Suit.

"Are you fine!" Sorren asked the guy who was almost killed by that UE Fighter "Stop asking and just run!" "No! I will not leave you all behind!"

"AHHH" someone shouted from behind and Sorren that the UE Fighter captured the girl he brought here.

"Het you kid...drop your weapon or I will kill this cute girl"

"Tsk"

Asten said to Sorren "Don't worry, you will be able to save her... I will merge two skills of yours"

"What do you mean merge my two skills?"

"Just shut up and save her!"

Sorren was able to run so much faster than before that the UE Fighter didn't even notice him and Sorren was able to hit him and knock out him.

He was able to save the girl and he takes her somewhere else and told her " Run this way! you will be able to see an emergency station! Inform them the situation about this place"

"Y-y-yes t-thank you for saving me" "We don't have time for these kinds of stuff! Just run now!" that girl run for help Sorren asked her for, and then suddenly a high power laser passed by him by a millimeter.

"Oh shit...I almost died" Sorren freaked out.

"So you are that kid which was able to defeat all of my subordinates huh?" a terrifying-looking UE Fighter said to Sorren "You must the leader who this whole attack, right?"

"It seems like you are quite smart kid...but sorry because of you my mission is getting disrupted, I need to kill you."

"Sorren, try to buy time for a while, if we are lucky that girl will come back with back-up, if not then we have to do this all alone."

Sorren was feeling a little bit terrified but he agreed with the plan "I guess we got no choice?"

Sorren got no choice but to attack the leader with his all strength and buy as much time he can.
