While we were on the way back to the port? harbor? docks?, we heard the siren rang, as danger approached from afar headed directly to this city. Its target and intention is unknown as of now, so most likely I will render assistance. But I have to return first and actually gather intel, and to know what is it we're about to face in the next couple minutes.
"Shouldn't we set out to sea again?" Janice suggests, hearing the sirens. I do understand the sirens mean danger, but I don't know the extent of the danger.
So upon returning and docking in reverse so my ship faces out to the open sea, well, technically ocean, we asked the common folk and the soldiers and naval officers rushing to their warships. It would seem the sea dragon that sends a humongous tidal wave has awoken, and will be sending the wave shortly. I asked if we needed to eliminate or if there's some kind of ritual to be done to celebrate, and what I got was: "Please, help us defend our harbor. We'll put a barrier but the dragon has to be killed."
Nodding, we set out again. The normal docking procedure has been abolished and violated by me and I'm aware of that. What I may be talking about is me not actually mooring the ship, but to just let it sit where it was while we asked around... which is unsafe and possibly could've destroyed other ships. Since my ship was faster than the other Alofian ships could ever reach (since most of the naval transportation and warfare vessels were kind of medieval in the fact of them being wooden, like the pirate ships of the old days who uses cannons as weaponry), I made it to where the sea dragon rose. It looked at the ship, and I looked back at it. Michel, Sarah and Janice are all inside the ship's bridge while I was at the very top of the superstructure where the rangefinder is. I was beginning to plan my attack, and just as I executed the plan that's deemed safe, a few other krakens and hydras and other aquatic unknown monsters spawned, which attacked my ship.
I thank Janice for her support of using a water barrier to make it impregnable, I can't tell her that because I have already a barrier set around my ship to prevent the attacks, I still let her do it. After all there are a few Red Bull energy drinks in cans inside the fridge located where she's at so she may consume those. I didn't use hybrid shells this time, only high explosives which seem to slowly damage the krakens and hydras. I'm quite surprised the hydras are taking damage at all; because their scales are made of something mystical and precious. The other ships from Alofia all of course put their efforts by firing magic shells which has more effect, so I had to use those as well. I started to use also all of the guns at my disposal.. whether it be anti-air, secondary or whatnot. I also discovered I can summon fighter jets and other fighter air craft that can assist me in reconnaissance and other offensive and search missions, so I used those. Summoning 50 of the fighter aircraft costs me so little mana, so I had to spawn in about 500, all of which are independent but under one condition: "Fight for Alofia, its people, and to save and let crew board should their ship sink and defend the main battleship Montana should it signal by firing a red beacon."
That condition with details seem to work. And I can clearly hear Michel cheering as he sees the krakens dying out. Then more sea dragons appeared. Ice mages were with the Alofian ships, and they were prepared to freeze any water attack. I can claim I've already lapped around the entire perimeter about two times now, given the enemies are all over the place. Aiming ahead of the opponent and training the guns at a precise area to ensure a direct accurate hit is difficult, even though everything is made sure to work perfectly. 70 knots is no joke, after that upgrade on the ship since the more enemies I and the other ships kill, my ship levels up, and they level up the ship 15 times. Each level up grants about 23 skill points, so 23x15 is 345 skill points. And every skill has a max of 15 points, and there are loads of them... I can't even with this world! It's too much... and it's exaggerated. BUT! It's what it's.
"So... only about four krakens and sixteen hydras and a hundred submerged sea dragons... even when the folk said only one? I wonder what they're talking—" I cut myself off after I discovered that the main dragon, the actual dragon they're talking about has shown up and decided that I'm its main target. It kept relentlessly attacking me with violent waves, which are purposefully blocked by my energy shield around the ship, whose energy is sucked into the core, which basically recycles the energy, so there's no limit. I think.
I focused fire at it, and all the mages that saw the thing fired all their spells with all their might and mana at it to keep it down, but I had the ultimate weapon: to send a nuke into the sea dragon and kill it... but it might affect the eco system drastically. And I noticed the skies have this pattern where its skies look like there are gasses separate like in a gas giant... so if I do that there might be dire consequences and the Gods might just put a curse, so I went down in a rush to the bridge, and I asked Janice what would happen if I use a weapon of mass destruction.
"That... I have to seek an audience with our Gods through prayer. I need a moment..." She got down to her knees to pray, and so I waited until she came back which was about five minutes later. Michel and Sarah also thought about it but doesn't have the answers.
After waiting, we finally got answers. And the answer was: "Let it break loose. The god of wind has heard, and will purify the winds after such event. The god of fire will cease calamity, the god of water shall cleanse and purify the waters after you, and even Ethel and Celeste will keep an eye on it."
Soo~! I'm excited. I loaded all the weaponry and armament or whatever you call... with nuclear ammunition. All the custom missile pods/launchers (as referenced from Arpeggio of Blue Steel), have been loaded with nukes. The intensity and size of the nuclear weaponry? I don't know. But I warned all the ships of what's about to happen, and they all had fled. Once the sea god recognized I was left, I heard him laugh.
"I am aware of what you'll do. You will use weapons of mass destruction upon me. I understand. And, I leave the waters to the god of water high above."
I hereby said: "I hear you. Thank you for this battle. However, your actions of spiting and causing tremors and destruction of property by tidal waves... has to be punished."
"I understand."
"Though, will I ever hear from you again?"
"If you can remember me, I'll live forever."
And so, I opened fire, and I had the intensity of the barrier to be the highest it can get. Once everything hit all the remaining opponents and the main sea dragon itself, it all turned into that amazing mushroom cloud which engulfed the seas, and the ship surrounded by a thick, black smoke caused by it. It's all radiation, so we sat down facing the ship, not looking up and embracing our legs, covering our eyes with our arms, and we felt the vibration and the... force; something I can't describe.
Once it all settled down which took like, about a few hours, it was no longer bright and the waters were chaotic. It's not tidal wave level, but it's like a storm has brewed. Michel, Sarah and Janice looked around and saw no remains of the sea dragon or anything, except for all the floating hydra scales. I gathered all the hydra scales with the help of the remaining fighter jets (with about 40 remaining after the nuke accidentally destroyed the unmanned jets.
After the hydra scales was gathered, I turned the ship around and headed for the city in a high speed of 70 knots, which took me about only a few minutes. The jets with the multiple nets carrying in the hydra scales chasing after me. Once I had returned, and docked properly this time, the hydra shells was dropped onto the roads to drain and for them to make use if needed and the nets gone. Once we got off board, and had the energy shield off and everything... I felt a huge weight on me, and I fell on my knees. I was behind the three so they didn't see me, but they heard the thump as I completely fell on the floor. Everyone who saw me after that rushed, and tried to assess my situations to see what was happening.
The planes flying overhead disappeared and the ship glowed and on its funnel vented out high pressured air, which relieved my body pain. "I... feel stiff... and fatigue. Help me up..."
I was rushed to the hospital, and I was placed in this bathtub where I get to lie down in this healing water, but has to be completely naked for it to work, so the kimono I was wearing was removed before I lied down. I looked around and see that I'm now seeing healers casting all this magic on me to restore my energy, and once they figured out the fact that I actually control the ship, they prayed toward the ship, but I'm not a God, so they should stop that, and once word of that spread, they did stop, but they did cheer instead, which makes me feel better.
I have no aim to be a God, and no intention to defeat the six Gods, so no thank you.
