The surroundings were bathed in a green light, radiated from two glowing circles that were partially visible from the cracks in the crystalline red helm. Green waves spread all over with the Foul Clothed Trestbeast at the center, and crevices started to line the ground as its powerful legs dug deeper and deeper. The terrain was entirely at the demon's mercy, evidenced by the green light rising up into the horns and blowing away the cracked, decaying forestry as well as all of its opponents.
Except for Bie, who held on with intensifying strength even though he could feel his skeleton creaking from the stress. Black rivulets streamed out of his orifices, and his bones began to fracture, but due to the fact that his sense of pain was lessened, combined with his willpower, he was able to keep holding on.
"Fiesty...bastard..." The white plus signs in his eyes began to rotate clockwise in one eye and counterclockwise in the other, as the dim grey aura from Smile of the Mountain enveloped him. Veins bulged in his fists as he leaned down even further on the spears that threatened to shatter completely at any moment, his weight increasing even furrther as if he intended to break the demon's spine!
With a swift pull, the demon inclined to the right, just in time for Casmere's blurring form to reapproach his opponent once again. Like a painter, he unleashed a series of strokes as his wheel rapidly spun while releasing a pale stream of light. His movements seemed to become slower to all who viewed them, though the number of cuts was disproportionate to the apparent number of swings the others could see.
The demon howled in pain, attempting to swing its claw directly at Casmere in order to bat the demon hunter away. But it was no use, as before the demon successfully turned, the baby blue Guide on his back started raining down stomps, pummeling the creature's back with a mixture of voracity and intensity.
On the other side, Ekulech's shimmering form was ripping even further into its hide, causing a green shower to spray all over the decrepit flooring. Phantasmic apparitions wielding transparent bone picks appeared quickly as well, each executing the wild series of strokes as their feet fluttered into a fleeting dance, each slash and stab landing squarely as the liquid began to form rivers of blood.
The red helm shone bright, and Ekulech ran back up towards Bie and pushed against his back, offering him support. Casmere darted backwards, his eyes still fixed on the beast as he withdrew. Unknowingly, his other hand was free...and Gyuho slapped it and took his place as he advanced in his stead.
Whilst walking forwards, Gyuho pointed his thumb down as he tapped his bat on his shoulder. A smirk gradually emerged on his face, his steps positively teeming with confidence as the ankh on his glabella began to emit a dim light. The shadow behind him curled, somehow cackling, and before the sweeping claw could bisect him, he stepped into the curling shadow and became clothed in darkness.
SLAAAM! The claw, having missed its target, hurtled past his nigh transparent form and clattered ungainly. Shards of rock were brought to the sky, though they did nothing to stop the encroaching Vendetta Jackie, and were instead deflected by a jumping Casmere.
Bie's stomping increased in cadence, as blood and sweat evaporated into the steam rolling off of his flesh. His grit teeth were hidden behind a ferocious smile, and his eyes were furrowed in an expression of both excitement and frustration.
'How long will it take for me to be strong enough to beat things like this on my own? I need to train harder...'
His thoughts, however, couldn't be heard by his companions. To them, he simply looked like a madman, though the suction force he was emitting was keeping the beast in check as well as the impaled polearms, Wanxi and Casmere in particular couldn't help but find it a bit reckless.
Gyuho's eyes drifted up to Bie's struggling form, before sending him a steady nod. Lulac dashed forward, noticing the massive heap of energy condensing between the Foul Clothed Trestbeast's horns. Waxen wings fluttering, he shoved his beam saber into one of the cracks, succeeding in burning up the demon's eye!
It's focus shot, it couldn't help but unleash the germinated energy. The ball fell down and was absorbed through the cracks, before condensing into a mixed red and green ray shot from the demon's mouth!
"Broken Flair: Showoff. Eat it, you stupid f*ck." Dark miasma surged into the ground beneath the demon, forming motes of darkened light before the geysers of energy erupted, colliding against their target's tenacious flesh and bones. Like a jackhammer, the geysers smashed away at the demon's fur with strong blunt blows, carrying an updraft as Bie's bobbed hair began to flutter upwards in turn.
Bie let go of the spears, as well as withdrawing his suppressive force. The spears could maintain their form no longer, and seemingly imploded as the shards all fell downwards, guided by what seemed like an invisible hand. Dropping low to the beast, he grabbed at the floating Ekulech and began hacking away at the demon's back, each strike hewing deeper and deeper into the flesh beneath him.
The invisible hand held him flat to the beast's back, where he kept on swinging regardless of the demon's rapid turns and struggles. Gyuho was taking the demon head on, nimbly stepping into his shadow after beating against the helm with his bat. With a subtle swing downwards, he baited the beast into an upwards attack before he shot up his arm, turning it into an uppercut of sorts.
"Ram Pill."
Wanxi's mutterings came to an end, and energy was released from the flag before regathering on her fingertip. A pill formed out of crackling lightning appeared, its small form brimming with energy that threatened to rupture even the owner. And if that wasn't enough, on her previously empty glabella, a simplistic canna lily pattern materialized, mixing the milky pale thunder with reddened particles.
"Ah, variation? Umm...Thane's Ram Pill!"
With those words, it was if the finishing touches were added. The pill buzzed as she flicked it away, the small, condensed energy releasing a miniature shockwave as it burrowed into the demon's helm. Shards of the helm rapidly flew out in all directions, half of it blown off as the pill continued even further down its body.
Casmere dashed through the sky, as he brought his hands up to his chest and formed a rapid series of hand seals towards his wheel. The wheel was visibly heating up, taking on a slightly green tint as the same color flashed in Casmere's baleful eyes. The cloth fluttered up to reveal the clattering skeletal lower half of his face, and twenty transparent figures fell downwards towards the beast with evil glints in their eyes.
Bie began laughing, his face overjoyed as he felt the demon faltering increasingly more frequently. He knew that they were in the home stretch! His eyes gleamed as they drew fine arcs in the air, his body weaving as his right hand swung down faster and faster.
Ekulech's bearded blade gleamed as it danced in the green spray, and the demon's exasperated body became riddled with holes, the fur ruined by deep crevices. Bie's assailment was unceasing, and although his mind was suffering under the strain, Smile was supplying him energy from the demon's strong resentment.
This gave him enough energy to do something decisive. The circle of light with runic patterns engraved upon it within his Inner World revolved at a greater speed, and the steam radiating off of him intensified as his muscles began to bulge. Blood flowed out of his mouth as suppressive force began to surround the demon on all sides but above, and it began to be crushed.
The force enveloped the helm, before crushing it completely. The limbs were twisted outside of their sockets, and contorted into twisted positions, the torso was being pulled and stretched from two sides, and with one final swing of his hand axe...
The demon was heaved in twain.
