I slowly made my way off the hover train, it has been exactly 6 days since I was last here in Farmers City, and I can tell you I would be in a terrible mood if my order wasn't completed.
Weakly I made my way to the Blacksmith shop, the more I moved and pushed myself forward the more I could feel my body break.
It screamed out in protest at the movement, if one was to look at my body then they would find it almost completely devoid of blood, completely pale.
Everyday my body becomes sicker and breaks down further. The only thing keeping me alive is my quest, my dream and hope.
The journey took more time to arrive than previously. Slowly the door opened and allowed me inside.
There I found the Old Man behind the counter smiling at me.
"Ah, I was beginning to think you weren't coming today... anyway here we are" He started to place different boxes on the counter.
"Yeah I was beginning the think the same there" I joked as I pushed myself forward to the counter to see the content of the boxes.
There were 5 boxes each of varying sizes, one long and skinny, a box wide, a box longer than a out stretched arm. The last two small with one long and the other a small square.
"Well let's take a look shall we." the Old Man opened all the boxes with a press of a button on the small remote in his hand only for all the boxes bar one to open.
The long box opened to reveal a long beautiful silver and blue spear, the spear tip 35 cm long perfect for slashing and penetrating through armor and flesh.
The spear head simple but striking with beautiful damascus patterns and a blue gem inlayed into the base of the head adding to it's beauty.
The length of the body just over 7 feet long, the perfect length for thrusting, slashing and defensing.
The spear's body was fully made of metal but flexible and light with blue grips covering the spear, perfectly positioned for gripping.
It ended with a small point for stabbing, slashing and resting the spear in a standing position.
Inside of the wide box sat a silver plate armor, cape and helmet. The body armor consisted of a main chest plate and scale armor to give flexibility.
The armored pant legs made of scale armor till the boots and the front of the legs, the metal boots with padding inside to add comfort as well as shock absorbing and gripping soles to give stability.
Arm guards covering the whole arm from the fingers to the shoulder plates, the gaps covered with a special made material. Flexible but strong with great resistance to damage and shock.
The helmet didn't have any unecessary decorations at all, but is made just for the sole purpose of protection.
Covering the whole face bar two opening lines for vision and speech that are connected by a single open line going down the middle of both and past the chin. The top of the helmet smooth with no decorations.
The cape covering the back of the armor all the way from the shoulder plates down to the heel of the boots, black devoid of a crest or decorations. Made from a special cold and heat resistance material that could also resistance cuts and lacerations.
Inside of the 3rd box laid a silver and blue custom hybrid longsword, over 115cm long made mainly for single handed but capable of double handed use as well. The blade damascus ripples on both edges, edges sharp enough to cut through iron and steel like mud.
The blade about 90cm long and 4.5cm wide, reducing in thickness down the blade till the tip. The handle, pommel and guard 25cm long making up the hilt.
The guard slightly curved towards the blade, about 10cm on each side. Made to guard the users hand in combat and for balance. Silver with a single blue gem in the middle of the guard for decoration.
The hilt inlayed with a blue and silver metal wrapping around the handle from the guard till the pommel. Silver wrapped clockwise, blue counterclockwise, creating small black diamond shapes along the handle.
The pommel a large blue gem, creating balance and wight while still being beautiful.
The scabbard made to cover the whole blade to the hilt, consisting of the same design and decoration of the sword's handle. Made of Silver and blue metal. One clockwise and the other counter clockwise creating the same small black diamonds along it's entire length.
The second last box held a simple skinny long dagger inside of a small scabbard, the dagger didn't have a guard or pommel but instead looked like a 35cm long white with blue lines stick when holstered inside the scabbard.
I looked over to the last box that wasn't opened before looking back at the Old Man who smiled mysteriously.
"Oh that... it will open when the times right till then.." he tapped the small box "Better keep it closed."
"Now... all of this will be ummm.... 15,000 credits please." He calculated the price and passed over a scanning tablet.
I pulled out my card and payed, 15,000 credits isn't a small amount it would make most cry tears of blood at having pay it, not to mention my situation. If not for that... I wouldn't have even 10 credits to spare.
To get this much credits I've sold all of my possessions and taken a large loan from the government and am still completely out of money.
He handed the small remote over to me and thanked me for the business, I thanked him before leaving with all of the boxes following behind me.
All the boxes were made with hovering technology to make it easier for items to be transported, each made of white metal with different cameras on each side to avoid hitting anything.
In an excellent mood I started the slow journey home.
The Old Man smiled before looking to his right almost as if he could see through it to different worlds. He shook his head before disappearing on the spot with the store.
In the stores place sat another shop almost like it was all an illusion to begin with...
Meanwhile back at Richard's home city the government started to begin the preparation for their mandatory testing.
