"The weather is rather nice today" , thought Death as he looked up, a clear sky, void of clouds and a breeze that could soothe your soul, a morning breeze, to die for… literally.
As he's sat down on top of the largest bank in the city, "Alinium Bank", he kept thinking of ways on how to approach his next victim, little did he know, the victim would come to him.
Death heard screams on the main office of the bank, "One more victim of his again, well, guess what, your soul is mine to take", says Death with a huge grin on his face, as he leaps and drops down, he locks the Chains of Redemption around his hands and grapples onto the office window barging right in.
The man, looking pitiful as he was violating one of his employees, looks at Death as he crashed in.
"Who are you and how did you get here" the man says and he lets the girl out of his grip.
Death takes out his scythe, his eyes turn black and his pupils red then says "I've heard those words way too many times when i was alive, can't you be a more unique villain".
The villainous boss rushes towards his desk to reach for a fire arm but is met with a slashing scythe in front of him, "You know, if i didn't catch you like this today i was gonna let you off a little bit more easy, BUT NOW IM GONNA MAKE YOU SUFFER", says Death while he closes in with his grinning face to the villainous boss making him tumble on the ground in fear.
The boss shamelessly says "Th-They asked for it… the way they dress, the way they act… They are asking to be raped!".
Upon hearing those words, death felt disgust, something he hadn't felt since he was alive.
"Trying to justify your actions… is just making your punishment even worse… I LOVE IT!" says Death as he proceeds to call a number of demons from hell, when at that time, a young man barges in the room, furious and with the intent to kill.
The young man notices the employee laying on the ground crying and he hugs her and comforts her,
turns out he was the girl's fiancé.
The young man's fury shifts to Death, "You got a problem?" Death says to the young man.
"Who are you?" Says the young man.
"None of your business" Death replies.
"I'll kill YOU AND THAT FUCKER OVER THERE" yells out the young man.
"I'll deal with you later, got more important things to do over here" replies Death then turns to the boss and steps towards him.
The young man lunges at Death but he evades it with ease and grabs his right arms and pulls him backwards , "I know you feel angry and all you want to do is kill him, but i can't let u do that" Death says while he glances at the villainous boss.
"I can't let you kill him, but you can do anything as long as he can still breathe" says Death to the young man.
"Why can't i kill him?! Are you perhaps on his side?" he replies
"First, im surprised you can see me, second, can't you see these demons around him? How can i be on his side and lastly if you kill him he'll be getting off easy" says while looking at the young man "I'll make him wish he was DEAD".
The young man still suspicious, but has no choice but to believe the strange maniac that's wielding a scythe.
"Now, now, now, how should i take care of you… AHA, I GOT IT". As he says that, chains emerge from the ceiling and the ground constraining him
midair.
"Don't worry, i'll make sure to be as less gentle as i can".
He spins the scythe on his hands and starts slashing him continuously, with each slash Death imprinted runes that inflict pain on the soul as well, amplifying the pain he felt by 100 fold.
The asshole kept crying for help and to be forgiven, but they fell on deaf ears.
An hour passed and his screams felt they could be heard a mile away but the barrier Death put on before jumping in was blocking the sounds from going outside.
Death instructs the demons to "have some fun" with the asshole then turns to face the young man.
"You didn't get the chance to exact revenge on him" says Death and a sigh follows after, "I apologise" says Death to the young man.
"No, you did enough, those screams of his eased my pain, knowing he went through so much pain so… thank you" says the young man.
"You're one fucked up motherfucker aren't you?" says Death as he laughed at the young man's answer.
"The same goes to you Mr. Grim Reaper" says the young man.
Death looks at the scythe and says "Was it that obvious?" Then he shrugs.
Loud screams break the atmosphere and as the young man looks behind Death, he sees the asshole getting raped by multiple demons.
"They don't discriminate and he needs to experience the pain he inflicted on others" says Death.
The young man smiles and thanks death yet again for what he did but before he left, he asks Death one favor.
"Let me slash him with your scythe" says the one man determined to give the asshole a bit of punishment as well.
"Yeaaahh… fuck no, not happening" says Death and starts leaving.
The young man grabs his robe and begs him.
"Please let me use your scythe just for once".
Death sighs then says to the young man "You could die if u do this, are you gonna leave her just for a bit of punishment?"
"I… no, that was a dumb idea…" replies the young man.
Death sighs and hands him a knife which has the same rune ingrained in the blade but on a lower level.
"Use this, it won't have the same effect as the scythe but it will hurt him like a motherfucker" says Death to the young man.
As he takes the knife, the runes glow and somehow go up by one tier then the young man says "You have quite the foul mouth for being an emissary of death".
"Does it look like i give a fuck?" Death replies.
"Did he just upgrade the rune i placed?" thinks to himself
The young man then approaches the asshole and slashes him like a maniac, never stopping once.
After all the punishment he went through, Death decides to take the asshole's soul and as he spins his scythe closing in on him , he swings for the throat slashing it and then he takes another swing, the head is cut clean in the middle.
Before he speaks the demonic language to send him to hell, he cast barriers around the young man and the girl so they would not get sent as well.
The words Death spoke shook the soul of the villainous boss as it trembled with fear, opening the gate of Hell and sending him to his eternal doom.
Death turns to the young couple and asks for their names
"Alexander" he responds.
"Sofia"' she says
"Quite the generic names you got there" says Death
"Still better than having no name at all" replies the young man again.
"Who says i don't have a name?"
"Then tell me what your name is" asks Alexander.
"You can't handle it" says Death.
Alexander clearly confused at what he meant gives the knife back to Death.
"Let's make a deal, if i make you my apprentice, you can keep the knife" says Death.
"I don't need it anymore, the asshole i wanted to kill is gone so there is no point" replies Alexander then asks Death "Why do you want me to be your apprentice?".
"You upgraded the rune i put on the knife by one tier, that is a huge feat for a human, and besides i can see myself in you, so it'll be like training my younger self you know?"
"I don't know, i just want a quiet happy life with my fiancé and that's it" he says with a proud smile.
"It's been so long since i dreamt of that huh?" Death mumbles to himself then says to the couple "Live a happy life, be grateful for what u have because it can be lost within seconds".
The couple thanks Death for helping them and the girl barely holding herself on her feet from the trauma gives him a flower shaped pin.
"It's not much but take it as a thank you gift from us" says the girl then as Death is about to take off he says to Alexander, "If you change your mind, come and find me" the he vanishes without a trace.
"He didn't even tell me where or how to find him, damn you Deathhh" Alexander yells out.
Out of nowhere, Death appears behind him and smacks him on his head "Who are you talking ill to, you ungrateful future apprentice".
"What do you mean future apprentice? I never agreed to it" says Alexander confused.
"You will, trust me" and he vanishes again to look for his next victim.
