"How did you get this file?"
Felix looked up from his file startled, as I barged into his office, my excitement making me bold, I thought I will never know what will happen with the case.
But now, I have a complete file in my hand, with all the details, I had asked Andrea about it, she said she doesn't know any information as the sic officers are now in charge of the case.
"They gave it to me." Felix answered, putting the file down, his attention focused on me.
"They did?" I asked in disbelief, taking a seat on one of the chairs in front of his desk.
"You won't get in any trouble by showing this to me?" This was my main concern, what if he gets punished because of showing this file to me when I am not even on the case. I don't want him to get in trouble.
"Why would I get in trouble?"
"This is not my mission anymore, so..." I trailed off.
