"XiaoYue, be careful." Yu Nianzhen shouted and erected a sword-intent barrier around his husband.
"I am fine." Jiang Yue said but his back was covered with cold sweat.
When the arrows came, he was in the middle of placing a formation anchor.
The anchor was one of the more important ones and he couldn't afford any distractions.
Fortunately, Yu Nianzhen was by his side.
Knowing that, he could ignore the natural instinct to protect himself and focus on placing the anchor.
"Azhen, the arrows are poisonous. You also have to be careful." He reminded but didn't pause in his actions.
"Don't worry."
With that, Yu Nianzhen thickened his sword intent barrier before turning to the south.
'The arrows came from that direction.' He thought and rage flashed in his eyes.
He wanted to rush out to kill the enemies but he couldn't leave until Jiang Yue was done arranging the formation.
