Chapter 28 - Chapter 28: Excitement

The sun was kissing Althea's skin, and the intense heat and light blinded her eyes. She pushed the satin sheets aside and stood up straight. She groaned, rubbing her temples as an excruciating headache swept through her mind.

As she reflected on the previous night, sparks coursed through her veins and a flush appeared on her cheeks. She thought they were over, but the way things turned out with her mate made her wolf happier than ever.

After a brief moment to process the events of the previous night, she realized she was alone in bed and stopped smashing on her mate. She frowned and looked around to see if Allan was present. Unfortunately, there was no trace of him.

She sighs and gets out of bed to change her clothes. She opened a few drawers, trying to recall which one belonged to her. She eventually succeeded and discovered a drawer full of her clothes. She chose a simple outfit consisting of a hoodie and leggings. She wasn't going anywhere, so there was no need to amuse anyone.

Althea smelt something horrifying as she closed Allan's other cabinets. She bites her lower lip, looking for the source. She reaches her hand into the cabinet and pulls out one of his hooded sweatshirts. Aside from a few random stains, it appeared normal, but it reeks of blood.

She removes the hooded sweatshirt and takes a step away from it. Something was beeping in her head as if trying to tell her something. If she weren't so forgetful.

She picked up the hoodie again to examine it, but the door opened as she got closer.

"What are you doing?" Allan inquires as he removes his other hoodie and hangs it on a coat rack. He notices what she's holding and walks over to her, gingerly removing it from her grasp. "This darned thing, I slipped and fell in it once and I can't get the foul stench of my wounds out of it," he grumbles as Althea notices a mischievous glint in his eyes.

She simply nods, "Oh," she says. She didn't believe him because it didn't smell like him at all. She didn't want to suspect her mate, but he was lying.

"I will throw that away if it annoys you," Allan says as he tries to pull her into a hug and kisses her neck. Her wolf wailed in delight, sending shivers down her spine. She only kissed him lightly. This man might be quite intimidating at times.

Allan pulls away after another minute, just to kiss her. Althea's face quickly heated up as she started kissing him back. He was a little rough around the edges, but she didn't mind. If anything, she found it a little sexy.

Allan reached down to her waist and gripped her tightly. She smiles as she wraps her arms around him, drawing them closer together. She noticed him smirking briefly before returning to kiss her once again.

She pulls back, her breathing heavy. After that incredible make-out session, Althea needed to get some fresh air. Allan, on the other hand, was not finished.

He dragged her onto the mattress and began to attack her neck with bite marks. As she felt herself getting so excited, her wolf wagged her tail and howled.

She stammered, "A-a-llan," as he nipped her mark. He raised an eyebrow at her and looked up at her. "I don't know," she bites her lower lip, trailing off. She was aware that her wolf was dissatisfied with what she was saying, and it felt wrong to continue.

Unlike before, he let out a small sigh before gently kissing her. "Althea, I need to do so much to you," he exhaled, placing his head above her breasts. She raised her hand and began to pet his head soothingly.

She observes him standing still, most likely thinking or debating. "We can do it, I'm just nervous," she says. She was being completely honest when she said that a part of her was holding her back. Maybe Allan can explain why. "It's almost as if something is telling me to stop."

With a discomforting look, his eyes shoot up and he looks her in the eyes. "Why don't you give it a shot?" he suggests, climbing on top of her and lurking over her body.

Her heartbeat was racing as she tried to figure out what to do. "O-okay," she stuttered, not entirely sure, but it had to suffice for him.

Allan began biting down on her neck, hard. It hurt a little and she wiggled under him, but he held her tightly. "Allan, it hurts," she whimpers, biting her lip to keep anything unpleasant from being said.

He pauses for a moment and looks up at her with glowing eyes, "Can you handle a little pain? Crying would drive me insane," he smirked. She froze, a little afraid of what he wanted, but she couldn't stop him now. She then nodded, sucking up the last of her fear.

He smiled and resumed biting into parts of her. Thankfully, once he got down to her shirt, he took it off rather than tearing it off. "Hmm, what a cute bra," he commented as he unclasped it. He picked it out despite her blushing at what he said, mumbling a thank you.

Her top half was naked. Allan lowered his head and kissed her breasts. At this point, her face was as red as a cherry. At least every few kisses, Allan would look up at her, then return to his work.

She felt her pants and underwear being pulled down and realized how cold the room was. "Hey!" she barked, and he looked up at her, probably wondering what the hell she was doing. "It's cold," she mumbles slightly embarrassedly.

Allan nods gets up and turns on the heater. Althean then smiled gratefully. She wouldn't enjoy herself in the cold.

Allan finished taking off all of her clothes before beginning to remove his. His body was so well-built that she kept a close eye on him. Her wolf purrs in response. Althea was happy that he was her mate.

Althea awoke to find Allan amusingly staring at her, making her blush with embarrassment.

"Good morning, sweetie, how did you sleep?" he inquired.

"Yes, I did," she admits, her gaze drawn away from his.

"Why aren't you at work yet?" she inquired, finding it odd that he was still present.

"That's because I took the day off and thought I'd spend it with you," he explained, smiling.

"Oh," she exclaimed.

"What makes you sound disappointed?" he inquires.

"No, it's just that I'm used to spending time alone in here, which is why you might think I'm not happy to see you."

"'That had better be it," he said.

"Now I've planned a nice day for us; we can spend some time alone together now," Allan explained.

"Are you hungry?" he asked, kissing her on the lips.

"Yes," she said quietly as she closed her eyes again. He sipped out of the bed as he unwrapped his arms from around her.

"I'll go make us breakfast while you get dressed," he said as he exited the room, closing the door behind him.

She got out of bed and went into the bathroom. Before entering the shower, she splashed water on her tired face, allowing the water to clean away the sweat from the night before. She went into the room after drying herself with the towel and putting on panties and a bra.

She noticed a box on the bed with the note wear me. When she opened it, she saw a maroon dress with white flowers on it. She put on the dress and returned to the bathroom, where she tied her hair into a ponytail.

Allan left after breakfast to make a phone call to confirm everything for tonight's dinner. "Sweetie, come here," he said commandingly.

"What is it?" she inquired.

I'm taking you out to dinner tonight. "We're going to a nearby restaurant that I've reserved just for us," he explained.

"All right," she said.

"Good. I've prepared a dress for you to wear. I hope you enjoy it. In addition, I want you to wear heels. "After all, my mate should not walk around in sneakers," he smiled at her.

"Yes," she says again as he leaves her alone to rest.
