Chapter 20 - Chapter 20: Mistakes

Althea sat in Allan's range rover, glancing out the window at the trees go by. It was a short plane ride, but for her, it felt extremely long. She knew she'd be punished when they returned as she wishes she could get out of this car right now, but he has child restraint locks. Allan knows how she behaves figuring out her ways.

"Say a single word and it will be twice as bad," he said to Althea, hoping that this rock rash would be better than his preferred pain.

They quickly arrive at his apartment and enter his room. Her back felt like it was on fire, and she couldn't imagine how much pain she was in as Allan stared at her intently. She wants to weep as she was terrified of him. Allan grabbed her by the arm and dragged her towards the couch. Althea thought, how dare he treat her like this, she can't stand him.

"If only you behaved, Sweetie, but you didn't, so I have to scold you," he said.

"F*ck you," Althea replied.

"No, my dear, there will come a time when I will f*ck you, but for now, I'm just going to whip you ten times and you better be sorry when I'm done," Allan said.

"Go to hell. How can you possibly think I want to be with you forever when you are a monster? This is just a silly addiction to power that will pass," she said.

"No, my dear, you're wrong. You're my life now, and we'll be together until death does us part. Okay, sweetie, no more games, it's time for your punishment," he said.

Althea remains motionless, trying to calm down herself. She took a deep breath as she noticed Allan pulling the whip from the drawer and approaching Althea on the couch.

She slapped him, then pushed him away and ran away, but he was faster and catches her, pulling her towards him.

"Get off, let me go," Althea exclaimed.

"I'd had enough of your behavior," Allans said, his eyes filled with rage.

"I hate you, I hope you die, you don't deserve to be called a mate," she said, just as enraged as he was.

"What did you say? You despise me?" he growled.

"I said I hate you," she spits angrily at him.

He yanked Amelia from his embrace and kissed her hard.

She struggled against his grip and attempted to push him away, but he grabbed her arm and threw her on the bed.

"You don't have any options, so let's make a deal and choose wisely," he whispered.

"Or thousands of people will die. Anyway, you have a choice since you are my beloved mate you have a fifteen minutes play session with me," he said smiling at her.

She glared at him, "O-Okay the second one," she says as she swallowed hard, crossing her arms. For her, maybe fifteen minutes can't be that bad. Allan could, and she was well aware of it.

"I know that you knew that I can do that," he chuckles, walking over to her. He grabs her wrist and pulls her toward him as she backs up onto the bed. Her body shook in fear. He couldn't kill her, but he could certainly hurt her. This could not be avoided despite the mate bond.

Allan reaches into his back pocket and pulls out a pair of handcuffs, which he puts on her and fastens to his bed. She closed her eyes, feeling completely defenseless, but she had to do it to save people's lives.

Allan returned to his box now that she couldn't move much. "Close your eyes, sweetie," he says, and she listens as she does so. Althea was curious about what he had in store for her, so she listened intently.

She then feels Allan walk close to her, but still a couple of feet away, stopping. She could hear him unraveling or untying something while her heart was racing. Swallowing hard, praying silently that her punishment wouldn't be that hard

Then she felt something incredible against her skin, causing her to scream in agony. Her eyes widen as she notices Allan holding a whip. Her mouth dropped open as she realized, thinking maybe this time she was about to die. She then looks at him. His face was filled with joy as if he were smiling. "What a sick psycho mate," she muttered.

"Six more," he croons. She shakes her head and yanks on the cuffs, trying to break free. She didn't want to do it any longer. He bites his lip and presses it against her skin once more.

She screams once more. Tears welled up in her eyes, but she refused to cry. It demonstrates weakness. People say it doesn't, but it does in this situation.

Allan then quickens the pace and then slows it down six times in ten seconds as her skin became numb and cold.

She looked down at Allan's bloody marks; they weren't pretty. Her stomach was dripping with blood. The pain caused her to close her eyes tightly. She was tired. She was tired of his life. "Why this is happening to me?" she asked herself as her tears fall.

"So pretty," Allan says sickly as he tosses the whip and walks over to her. Hearing him makes her feel disgusted for having a mate like him.

"I hope you learned your lesson, sweetie, and you'd better obey me from now on," Allan told her.

"Go to hell, bastard!" she yelled angrily at him.

"Why did the moon goddess give me such a cruel psycho mate?" she wondered as her tears fell again and she felt him trace a find down her cuts, prompting her to whimper in response. She just wishes the pain would go away, and she hopes it will soon since Allan is close.

"Should I do this more frequently or-"

"No, please!" she exclaimed, her voice breathy. "No more, no more whipping, please! I'd rather be trimmed than whipped!" She added, forcing herself to be brave because she knows her mate will become angry again at any moment.

"But it's just so raunchy," Allan says, nibbling at it in her ear. Her wolf purred, but all she could feel was despair. Resentment and panic. "Plus, you might like it someday," he added, smirking. never," she says as she pushes him back with her legs. He raises an eyebrow and looks around with his eyes. "I hate you!!" she exclaimed as if she were a child. When she was under pressure, her attempts to communicate were rendered ineffective.

"But I can do many terrible things," Allan laughs, "Well, this is what will happen if you refuse to obey me even once," he tells her as he sits by the bloody pool of blood.

Althea's vision was blurry, and her words jumbled as she spoke, "Like what?" she couldn't complete the sentence before passing out.

"Dude, what the f*ck?" she overhears. It sounded familiar, but she couldn't quite identify it. "Why did you do that? She was startled! She was your mate!"

"So?" asks Allan, as if nothing has happened. Her wolf growled, hurt that their mate didn't even care for them.

"What the f*ck are you thinking, Allan? I have told you numerous times that you need her to trust you and fall for you because she's your mate for bloody hell's sake! "His friend shouts, Perhaps it was his friend she met once Xian.

Allan then growls lowly at his friend, "Don't worry, she's totally fine!" he exclaims, grasping her shoulder. Althea was unable to move, or she would have. All of her other senses were turned off, except her hearing.

"No, she's not Allan, her wolf won't beg for me to help her and that's the day she'll destroy herself all because you can't keep yourself under control!" his friends exclaim, smacking Allan's hand away from Althea's arm hard.

Allan was silent, and she could feel his wolf hyperventilating, but Allan was debating. She wonders what, maybe to finally treat her right? All she could do was hope.
