Sweaty palms, lustful eyes, warm bodies touch as two soft lips intertwine. Helmets are on the floor as the two star athletes unleashed there wholesome love for each other. The car was parked on top of the hill of the school they attend.
"Fuck! What if someone saw us!!!" Xsavier says worryingly. "It's cool we'll just pretend we don't know what he's talking about." Omar says. "Anyways, I can't keep doing this!" Xsavier says. " Doing what?" Omar questions. "This secretive stuff. My dad will kill me if he knew-." Xsavier informs. "X, I know it's hard ,but are you going to abandon your heart because of what your Dad thinks? I know I get it, you don't want to disappoint your dad but, I'm in love with you,Okay? I don't want to keep hiding my love for you." Omar passionately says. "And if that means getting made fun of by the whole football team. I don't care! I'm ready! I'm ready to risk it all for you." Omar continues. Xsavier shakes his head in disbelief. "I didn't know you felt that way, but I can't keep doing this! What about me? I'm not comfortable with everyone knowing this! I'm not even comfortable being this!" Xsavier voice breaks. They're a minute away from Xsavier's house. Omar is pulling up on the curb. Awkward silence fills Omar's Volkswagen. " Well...I don't know either way I'm still here for you." Omar says sincerely. "Look I love you...but I can't love you." Xsavier says as he storms out of the car slamming the door leaving Omar's feelings distraught and confused.
The next day Xsavier woke up to the crying of a new born baby. Xsavier's Mom had the baby a few weeks ago, his name is Genesis. Xsavier's family is very religious so they're named after the Bible. Xsavier's mom Patrisha is a doctor. She raised him and his little brother Roman. Roman is your standard jock he gets all the girls, gets into trouble for staying out too late, he also is starting to get into drugs. Despite that he's 16 he's already had sex with 15 girls. Xsavier says yes as his mom goes on and on about it while he zoned out and got a text from Omar.
It says: "Aye my boy, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have pressured you to kiss me. If you don't want this then we can just be friends. Even though I'd rather be more than that, I guess I have to accept your word."
Xsavier feels bad, he really loves Omar. He knows Omar is hurt and that hurts him, but he can't risk the chance of his dad knowing.
One time when he was 5 years young, his father whooped him for kissing a man on the men's fitness magazine. They were in the dentist waiting room and he was very embarrassed. Other kids were laughing at him and he felt ashamed, that was a day he couldn't forget. Every since that he thought it was wrong to like what he liked. Omar was about to try out for the football and they clicked instantly. Xsavier was sitting alone because he always felt outcasted from the other guys because he was the shortest. Xsavier chuckles. Somehow this awkward conversation made them friends. And one night a couple months from that first encounter lead to them playing video games. Present day Xsavier's getting ready for school. This is the last day of senior year, but after today they have a championship game. He packed his jersey, and football gear into his gym bag. He hears the front door close as Roman leaves the house. In the bathroom there is a window he peaks out the window and sees the bus leave him behind. "Ugh!!" Xsavier releases in agony. His mom went back to sleep. She was up all night taking care of the baby and he doesn't want to disturb her. Now there's only one solution. "Aye, I miss the bus can you ride me?" Xsavier calls his best friend Olivia. "Yeah boo!" Olivia says happily. Olivia has the biggest crush on Xsavier. Everyone knows except Xsavier.
10 minutes later her suburban is parked in his drive way. Three horrifying beeps awaken Xsavier from his power nap as gets up from the couch. Xsavier opens and locks the door. Olivia's smile is big and bright as the summer day. As Xsavier opens the door her preppy voice welcome him. "How did you miss the bus?" She questions him. "Roman took too long." Xsavier explains. about 10 minutes later they are at school.
There school is called Redwood. Redwood high school is all about perception. If your outfit isn't up to par you'll get clowned as soon as you walk in. Xsavier has no problem with perception except him being secretly gay. He's charismatic, funny and him and Omar are some of the most popular students there.
Xsavier sees Omar and avoids him. Omar tried to say hi and Xsavier ignored him. That broke Omar's heart. "What's wrong with him?" Holly Asks Omar.
Holly Hampton is the most popular girl in redwood. She's a varsity cheerleader. Her Dark red hair, perfect make up and contour clothes makes her stand out. She's known to get around, but she doesn't care. She embraces it. She feels like woman can do the same thing as men.
"I don't know why?" Omar says then he tries to joke it off. "Maybe I curved him in practice , so he curved my handshake." Even though Omar jokes his eyes contradicts his words. "Oh my god, I can't wait for the game! I'm nervous. Feel my hand I'm shaking." Holly says. "I knowww you're shaking..Let's get some breakfast. " he puts his arms around her as the go get breakfast. Holly and Omar have hooked up for a couple years but they never labeled themselves as a couple. Omar's heart is for Xsavier. Omar's bisexuality is another problem for Xsavier. He sometimes has second thought of coming out. He loves Xsavier, but he doesn't want to lose Holly Hampton.
After a long day of trying to concentrate the school day is finally over. The big game is the popular topic. The Redwood Hawks' ultimate rivals The black Bears have won against redwood every previous year. They are undefeated when it comes to championships, but redwood have been giving them a run for there money. Everyone's still at school it's 5pm and the game starts at 7pm. The cheerleaders are putting on the signature uniforms on. Black and Dark red is all you see in the women's locker room. The guys locker room is impact with heavy laughs, plans of what plays they're gonna do and what universities they'll attend. Omar enters the humid locker room and sees X standing at his locker. "Bro stop ignoring me!" Omar yells causing attention to them. "What? Mind your business!" Omar says to the guys who looked over at him. "..." x says nothing he puts his head down. "Come outside, bro." Omar asks. "Bro I don't want to talk." Xsavier says. "What? Did he steel your girl? Hahaha!" A football player says. "No, but I know no body stole your virginity." Omar snaps back. Xsavier walks out the locker room.
Omar chases behind. Xsavier goes to the parking lot. Omar argues with Xsavier. "Dude I swear if you don't talk to me I'm going to tell them about us!" Omar says. Everyone's gathering around. "Say something to me!!" Omar shouts. "Okay bro, what?" Xsavier asks.
Omar grabs Xsavier's shirt and kisses him in front of the whole football team leaving the players jaws dropped below the ground.
