Chereads / Just Let Me Sleep / Chapter 8 - Chapter 7

Chapter 8 - Chapter 7

Riel just nodded and stared at the empty space. She never expected that Dela would have changed so much after that bullying! Who doesn't know Dela in the English classes? She was arrogant at the first day and boasted a lot about her grades. But not long ago, someone exposed that she bought her way into the college and her grades are fake. She got bullied in social media and college for 3 days straight until someone found her almost suiciding in front of those bullies.

The college expelled them and closed the matters, Dela also stopped attending classes and everyone expressed their understanding as it's not easy to attend the places where you got constant nightmares. Yet today, not only she attended class, she smiled and even slept at class. It's a miracle.

When Adel walked out, she also received the same information from the system. Apparently, she doesn't know this because the body's owner decided to forget all of these. Her brain automatically deleted these information as it is a very traumatic event for her.

Her next class is in 15 minutes and it's not a tedious one. The class usually gave some theories and explained them and it only lasted for 30 minutes. After that, there will be a PE class and it was marked as one of the original owner's favorite class.

But this class. Adel hates it to death.

'System, can I use the bullying as an excuse to not do the PE class anymore?'

'Host, even if you can, no one can understand why. There's no connection between them at all.'

'Also host, please don't be lazy.'

'Shut up.'

It's not that she's lazy... Exercising, PE class was one of her nightmare back in the day. If she got the same complaint this time, she might fell into depression...

However, since she took this body, she has to do it after all. She sighed and went to the toilet to change her clothes. When she's changing, she doesn't forget to appreciate her current body. Even wearing such clothes, she still looks perfect.

When she arrived at the PE class, everyone else is already running and the teacher told her to run 3 laps after warming up. Hearing 3 laps, Adel can feel her heart beating very fast and she knows this is her own soul reaction. She wanted to say okay, but she feels like she couldn't. She doesn't want to feel that feeling again...

'Host, it's okay. If you want, I can let you not feel anything while running. It's like your body running yourself!' The system cheered behind her.

What she scared of the most isn't the feeling of running nor the feeling of her body being tired. It's just... when she looked at the teacher and her body, she feels really exhausted.

The teacher saw that she said nothing and even frowning. He frowned and thought that she might need more laps since Dela was known for being able to run even 50 laps without trouble. Before he could say more laps, he saw her nodded and ran. Confused by it, he can only stare at her for 5 seconds before looking away.

When running, an image overlapping in Adel's mind and some voices are ringing in her ears. She keep frowning but she keep running.

'System can you block my memories?'

'I'm sorry host, I can only block the other host's memories but not yours since I have no full authorization to your brain.'

Adel feels dizzy, she wanted to stop running to stop these nightmare from coming back again but she noticed that her body won't stop no matter what. She knows that it's the body memories, it won't stop until it became tired. But she really feels dizzy, she wanted to block those memories, but the more she tried to forget it, the more she can't. And the reason for that is because this body just keep moving and doing the things she hates the most.

She doesn't know how she finished those 3 laps, she can only remember that she keep fighting with those memories and it won't stop from coming. When the teacher going to say something to her, she stared at him with wide eyes and covered her ears.

"This student... Dela, are you okay?" he said worriedly. When he almost reached her, Adel looked down and felt nauseous. She felt stressed. She doesn't want this. She won't do this anymore.

While still covering her ears, Adel looked up and said sorry to the teacher and she ran towards the toilet. She couldn't hold it anymore and puked.

'Host! Are you alright? What happened?'

'Don't ask, just shut up.'

The system became silent and Adel just looked at the mirror in front of her.

Pale. Very pale. That's the fittest description to describe her appearance right now.
