Haley met with policemen from another station when she got to the mall. Her drive down to the mall was a slow one as she took that time alone to think about a lot that has been happening. In less than 48 hours she has encountered many challenges in one single case that hsd left her really drained. When she thinks of tackling one another ones comes into play.
One thing was sure she was no longer scared of Pedro having any intention to kill her but then he made a statement that has kept her thinking.
"I want to keep you alive because you need to be alive for me to exact my revenge on you " he had told her.
With all that was going on she would still need to be conscious of whatever move he would be making towards her.
"Good morning ma" A familiar voice greeted her.
Haley looked out of the car to see Eric and Brain standing by her car with a curious look on their faces. It was obvious they have been standing there for some time expecting her to come down from the car. She didn't even realised she parked her car already.
"Maam are you okay? Brain asked with a look of concern on his face.
"We have been here for about three minutes and you didn't even notice us" he added
"I am fine, so many things are just happening at the same time" She replied forcing a smile to assure them of them of her mental stability.
"When was the last tike you ate something? Eric asked still not conviced about her. They all knew whenever she had an tasking challenge food was usually the last on her list.
"I can't remember" Haley replied walking away from them as she knew the next stage would be to pressure her on getting something to eat.
"You don't need to run away we brought food for you" Brain laughed at her as he showed her a package in his hand.
Haley smiled to herself. She was glad she picked these two guys at least they know how to take care of her while she is working.
"Thank you, I will take that when we are done with this place. What's the update since you came? Haley asked.
"The northern Blackpool's police station were the ones called for me this case and they have refused us access to the building since we came. "Brain informed her.
"On what grounds? Haley asked a little angry now. Her relationship with the northern police station have never been great as they are peoole who don't like sharing intelligence with any other police force.
"You know how they are ma" Eric replied with a short answer that Haley already understood.
She walked up to the building determined to have a face off with anyone that will challenge her.
"Maam please you cannot go in" a police woman said holding the tap befor her to prevent her from moving inside.
Haley quickly brought out her barge to show her making sure she also sees the rank written on it as she could tell she was a rookie.
"I will not like to waste my words with you. I believe you already know me very well so give way immediately " she ordered her with a mean look on her face.
Without wasting time the rookie raised the tape to allow her inside with a frown in her face. Eric and Brain immediately followed her inside too.
"Who allowed this woman inside? A voice suddenly barked from upstairs.
Haley didn't need to look up to know who it was. It could only be Inspector Victor her long time foe in this line of work
