Daisy wanders the forest nearby her house almost every weekend to pick berries from the Exquisite Strawberry Kingdom (as she calls it). Many Teenagers in Her generation may call a normal day of Daisy's a "Dork life" or a "poor person" maybe because they wouldn't know the fascinations of strawberry
Picking. A farm girl, like Daisy is living such a great life around all the natures just right with her.
"Daisy, I made your favourite!" Her grandmother called almost every Saturday. Her dad wasn't in contact since the day of her mother's death. So it was just Daisy and her favourite person. On the wooden table was a hot, fresh, biscuit pot pie with a heart thumbprint in the middle. The credible smell of biscuit pot pie filled the room. Daisy smiled as she scurried to the seat and brushed her skirt. "Thank you, Gram" Daisy's
smile stretched from ear to ear. "No problem" her grandma always said.
"Can you, sing a song for me?" The question wasn't a thing her grandma usually asked. "Yea, sure!" Daisy gulped. "If I could save time in a bottle. The first thing that I'd like to do Is to save every day 'til eternity passes away…Just to spend them with you. Do you like it? It's not MY song but.. it's really special" Daisy placed her fork down as she started to chew. Grandma got teary- eyed. "You remember that song I always used to play for you?" Her grandma said in awe.
"Of course! It's still my favourite". Daisy finished up her pot pie. "I have to go berry picking, and quickly before the cows go hungry" Daisy dusted her self off cleaning the dishes. "Okay love you gram! See ya' later" she gave her grandma a kiss just before she left.
By now Daisy was in the "Exquisite Strawberry Kingdom" which was one of her most favourite places to attend to. "If I could make days last forever
If words could make wishes come true
I'd save every day like a treasure, and then
Again, I would spend them with you
But there never seems to be enough time
To do the things you want to do once you find them
I've looked around enough to know
That you're the one I want to go through time with…" she sang and hummed the melody. A tiny twig break. She looked over to the noise. In the corner of her eye a little boy appeared. "Wow, such beautiful features you have" Daisy complemented as she smiled to the boy, (who seemed to be her age). "Such elegant, fragile, voice you have. Your such a delicate girl, and for all your rewarded are with thoose beautiful curls" he rhymed. "Are you into poetry?" Daisy questioned as she sat down onto the long tree trunk. "Yea, I am totally obsessed with the arts of poet. But many people at my poetry classes tell me my poetry isn't the best" the boy looked down frowning. "I'm sure it isn't all that bad, maybe you could tell me what your working on" Daisy turned to him. His eyes glistened as he pulled a tiny notebook out. "Autumn, The sun is sharp there's comfort in grey skies. Rain patters on so steadily, days slip before your eyes-" he said with a final sigh. "That was so, heart filling" Daisy hugged him tightly before she rambled on about how great he was.
"Do you live around here? I could help you home. I know this place like the back of my hand" the boy started. "No, it's okay. I know my way home. Anyways.. I didn't catch your name?" Daisy eyed the boy slowly. Making up the names he could be. "I'm Harvey, what's your name?" The boy softly smiled at Daisy. "Oh yeah- well I'm Daisy"
From then on Daisy and Harvey Had a huge connection, poetry AND singing. They'ed meet at the "Exquisite Strawberry Kingdom" almost every time She went Berry picking on weekends.
