When Rose opened her eyes she was looking at herself but what was strange is her body wasn't doing anything she commanded.
'What is going on I can't move my body? wait why is my body standing in front of me like this? Wait why are your eyes blue?' Rose started to have a bad feeling, she looked down and realized she had no body.
Asure saw that a transparent form was standing in front of her both women were confused as to what was going on. The transparent form was so bright and had such lovely warmth about it but
"Who are you? Why are you in my room?" Asure asked Rose with caution and unease. Her cold eyes that had belonged to Rose just a few short hours ago filled with hate at whatever was in her space. 'How dare you show off your bright warmth in front of me!!' Asure thought to herself with a sneer. the form in front of her faded out and as it did a dark chuckle left her mouth.
"I am Rose. Why do you look like me? Why can't I move my body?" Rose shouted out in fear and trepidation. Yet as her words finished the view in front of her began to fade out and she realized if she doesn't have a body, she has no actual voice either. She reached out her arm trying to grab ahold of the thief in front of her but to no avail, as her hand passed through her body a cold dark hateful chuckle filled her ears.
Asure sat back on the bed trying to process just what the hell was going on. Roses parents came into her room.
"Asure sweetheart are you feeling better?" Mom said with love and concern in her voice as tears trickling down her face. Dad leaned over and put his hand on her forehead as to check for a temperature. Asure was so stunned she froze 'How do they know me? What is going on here? How did I get here? I finally gone crazy.' Just as she was about to say something Roses dad started talking.
"Asure, honey we have been worried sick you came home from the market a week ago and passed out in the living room with a fever. Your mother and I were so worried when we came home to find you there you haven't woken up since we thought we were losing you." He said as him and his wife sat on either side of her bed still shacking with worry and sadness.
Rose stood in the room frozen 'They knew this person in her body? But how? I am their only child how can she be in my body, and they still know who she is?' As the thought this she looked around her room and what she saw made her heart break. The room that she had spent the last seventeen years in no longer looked like hers. Gone were the blue sky's painted on the walls, the pictures of her and her parents laughing in the little garden in their small yard was replaced with dark black and white paintings and her parents standing next to her face with a cold unfamiliar expression.
'What is going on!!!' Rose screamed in her heart. Rose turned back to look at the slightly cold atmosphere in the room. She heard her mother say to Asure.
"Honey we are going to go down and make some soup for you. You must be hungry after sleeping for so long if you need anything just call out and one of us will be in to help. Alright?" Mother was looking at Asure for confirmation that she heard what she said so when Asure gave a cold small nod mother walked out of the room.
Once the door closed Rose fallowed them down to the kitchen. Asure sat on the bed and waited for the steps to get farther away. When they had gone, she walked to the small desk at the corner of the room she grabbed a pencil and paper. She wrote a note set a brush across it so it wouldn't be blown away and turned to the room with a cold expression she had made a decision, and no one could stop her.
Ten minutes later Asure had packed a few things and had opened the window within seconds she was outside and halfway down the street she was never going to come back. While Asure was making her way-out Rose was with her parents in the kitchen. As soon as they got the soup started Rose heard her father ask her mother in a grave voice.
"When are we going to tell Asure what's going on? "Rose got excited thinking they were talking about her, but what she heard next made the world around her fall away.
"Love, let's wait till she feels better I don't want her to fall ill again, and you lose both of us I'm only going to have a few more months left with you both I don't want her to find out yet." mother stated in a trembling voice.
