Nile glanced around the Sea Cave, it was pitch dark and completely encased in shadows but his senses did not pick up any danger close by and so he knew it was safe, at least it was for the moment.
As Nile ventured in, his eyes quickly adjusted to the darkness of the cave and when he was certain he had gone in deep enough to conceal his presence, he slowly lowered the merman down to lay on the ground.
Nile also lowered himself to a seat, leaning against the cold wall of the Sea Cave, Nile took a moment to catch his breath before he placed down the Tide Trident and turned his attention to the merman.
Much like before, perspiration still formed on the merman's forehead and the exposed parts of his skin and his face was scrunched up in pain, pained groans escaping his lips.
Nile's brows furrowed in concern as he reached a hand out and placed it on the merman's forehead, a burning pain shooting up his hand.
