"Here, drink it while it's still warm. It should help you sleep too." Darren said as he took a seat beside Eloneth and offered a hand to help her seat up.
Eloneth sat up and took the took the tonic, lifting it to her lips, she did not even take notice of the bitter taste since her attention was focused elsewhere.
Eloneth's eyes were fixed on Darren as it had been all the while.
It was as though Eloneth feared if she took her eyes off of her mate for even a moment, he would disappear.
"You keep watching me...I am not leaving you know." Darren assured with a small smile on his lips.
Eloneth returned the smile, shaking her head slowly as she finished off the tonic.
"I know... I just... I can't help it." Eloneth admitted hesitantly, a blush coloring her cheeks.
"Adorable." Darren complimented, his hand moving to brush the strands of hair that fell over Eloneth's face before his hand rested against her cheek.
