The changeling demon, taken aback by the sudden appearance of Holt and Allen broke his concentration and in it's distraction, the effect of the paralysis on Queen Heveneth was lifted momentarily.

The changeling demon was blasted backwards whilst Queen Heveneth collapsed down to the snow, exhausted and bleeding profusely from where the changeling demon had pierced into her skull.
Lord Kodin hurried to Queen Heveneth's aid whilst Holt and Allen lunged after the changeling demon, Holt shifting into his wolf form mid air.
