"Lily... My Baby." Sophia said as she hugged Lily tightly.
"Mom..." Lily called as she tried to hug her but that little girl doesn't know if she is doing right by hugging her mom or not. Because, she was never close to her mother. She is scared of her because, she always used to scold her. Sophia never cared about Lily even once. But, Lily is curious why her mother had came to her school to see her.
"My love... How are you?" Sophia asked as she hugged Lily tightly.
"I am good, Mom." Lily answered as she slowly hugged her back.
"I am not sure how you are doing. I don't know if i should just believe you. Because, How can you live like this without your mom? Tell me?" Sophia asked and Lily frowned.
"Umm..." Lily stuttered.
"You know, How much I love you? Don't you?" Sophia asked as she cupped Lily's face in her hands and Lily really doesn't have any idea if she should nod her head or shook her head.
Because she is confused as well. She doesn't know if her mother loves her or not. Because, as long as she knows... Her mother just didn't cared about her ever.
That's what she knows but right now...
"I am doing so good, Mom. You don't have to worry about me." Lily said.
"I can't believe that. I know, Your Dad doesn't give you time and can't even play with you. How about You come with me? I can take care of you better than your Dad." Sophia replied.
"Well... I don't think, That's possible, Miss." A sudden voice made them both turn around to see Ivy standing behind them.
"Huh? Who the hell are you to say that and how dare you interrupt us?" Sophia asked with anger.
"I am Ivy. Ivy Anilsky. Lily's teacher." Ivy answered as she walked towards them.
"Mumma." Lily said with excitement as she hugged Ivy's legs.
Sophia eyes widened at what she heard Lily just called Ivy. She can't believe that Lily called someone else Mom and Sophia tried to figure out why had Lily call her Mom? What is their relationship? Is she the one that is engaged to her ex-husband? If so, she is just nothing but a mere kindergarten school teacher? He is going to marry a good for nothing girl?
"Mumma?" Sophia asked as she looked down at Lily and then at Ivy.
"Yes. Ms. Anilsky is going to be my mumma soon. We will have so fun together." Lily said as she smiled at Ivy and she caressed her hair.
"Of course, we will." Ivy replied.
"Hey..." Sophia called.
"Ivy. My name is Ivy Anilsky." Ivy said again making Sophia roll her eyes at her.
"Do you know who I am?" Sophia asked.
"Sorry, I don't. You didn't introduce yourself." Ivy answered with a small smile making Sophia grit her teeth.
"I am Lily's biological mother. Sophia." Sophia said making Ivy nod her head.
"Nice to meet you." Ivy said as she forwarded her hand but Sophia fold her hands on her chest as she raised her eyebrows.
"Ohh... It's okay." Lily said as she took back her hand as she realised how attitude had filled inside her.
"So, Let me take my daughter with me." Sophia said.
"I am sorry but I don't think I can just let her go easily with you. We have got strict orders to not let Lily out of the school with anyone without Mr. Asher's permission." Ivy replied.
"How dare you say that? I am her mother. I don't need anyone's permission." Sophia said.
"You might be her mother but we have some rules and regulations. So, Please follow them." Ivy replied.
"How dare you say that to me? Do you even have any idea what I am capable off?" Sophia asked and Ivy shrugged.
"I am sorry but I don't want to know either." Ivy said making Sophia sigh.
"So, you are the one that is going to marry Asher. Can see why he had you behind her back! He just doesn't want me to meet with my daughter. He hates me. He doesn't want me to see my daughter. What kind of a father is he who doesn't care anymore?" Sophia asked making Ivy take a deep breath as she look down on Lily and saw that she had been listening to everything that Sophia is saying which kinda made her feel bad.
Lily had to hear this from her mother about her dad. She doesn't want to hurt the little girl's heart and make her Dad look like a bad personal to Lily.
