Hearing Ye Luo's voice, Luo Jingxuan on the other end of the phone was extremely excited. She and the other girls had been quite worried since they couldn't get through to Ye Luo these past few days.
"I'm fine. Something came up, so I didn't contact you all in time, but I'll be back in a day or two. How are you guys doing? Nothing happened in Zhonghai, right?" Ye Luo asked.
"Everything's fine, you don't have to worry."
"Then I'll rest easy. Tell Sister Yan and the others I'm okay and to not worry about me."
After chatting with Luo Jingxuan for a while, Ye Luo hung up the phone, and after thinking it over, he made a call to Ling Qingya.
"Hello?" A cold yet familiar voice came through the phone.
Ye Luo's eyes flickered and he said, "Qing Ya, it's me."
There was a few seconds of silence on the other end of the line before Ling Qingya's voice could be heard: "Are you okay?"
"I'm alright. Did I make you worry? Are you okay?"
"I'm very well. Where are you now?"
