Chen Yaowen's tone was slightly ironic.
"How can this be called just muddling along? I'm helping my fiancée better manage this company," Ye Luo retorted, curling his lip.
"Does the Vice Director of the Security Department manage the company?"
Chen Yaowen said, his tone tinged with sarcasm.
"Of course, without the Security Department, the whole company would have no security at all. It's the most important position."
Ye Luo spoke calmly, even as the chicken bone in his hand had been gnawed down to just one piece.
"Then I hope Mr. Ye can fully utilize your capabilities in the Security Department," Chen Yaowen said coolly before turning and leaving immediately.
Ye Luo glanced at Chen Yaowen, a wry smile playing on his lips. He clearly understood the man's intentions.
It seemed his fiancée's charm was indeed great – having just dealt with one suitor, another had already popped up.
