-NARRATOR P.O.V.-
Mia struggled to escape Kimberly's grasp. She didn't understand why her best friend would be doing this! As well as the hooded individual, who were they? The figure stood shrouded in the cloak, emitting a deathly chill like that of the winter snow. Its face was cloaked in mystery and obscured by fog-thickened air that surrounded it. From the countless icicles encrusted on its body and garments, cold mist emanated forth as an arctic breath of sorrowful life lost long ago. It didn't move, only freezing wind stirred through its frosty remains which were all but dead yet somehow still alive with eerie vibes. "You were too hesitant." The figure injected Kimberly with a needle that had a strange substance in it, causing her to scream in pain. The scream pierced the night like a horrific banshee, echoing through the darkness and searing into Mias' ears. It was a wretched wail of anguish that sent chills down my spine and filled me with dread. her limbs grew weak, trembling in fear as she shrunk away from the terrible sound that seemed to cut right through her. She was right in front of her best friend, watching her suffer, and she couldn't do a single thing about it. "S...Stop...Stop it" Mia managed to slip out, and her whimpers became less audible. "Stop it...you're hurting her..." She got a little louder. Mia's eyes swirled, Her hair seemed to writhe around her like a vengeful beast, heating up the air on the foreign planet. her body shook, but not with fear, despair, or even rage. A devilish smile curled onto her face. Mia had a hunger that resisided deep within her, one that had been inherited by her mother, an energy and passion for the battle which kept her constantly on edge. Her limbs were coiled springs, ever tense and ready to launch into action. Even in moments of rest it seemed as if she was holding back an internal fire; you could almost see the flames radiating from behind those fierce eyes of hers. "Release her." The hooded figure demanded Kimberly as she let Mia go. The man had injected her with some sort of emotional booster, a drug, that made her negative emotions go haywire and caused her rampage against Mia. Kimberly's once short honey blonde hair grew longer, flowing in the wind as her face of agony became a blank one. her eyes began to glow a certain purple, but it wasn't her usual purple that was a sign of her using her abilities, or even an obedient one. These were eyes of vengeance.
