optical waited by the entrance of the city until the sun went completely down and it was pitch black.
" After those royal carriages went through i bet there guarding the gate from the inside so i shall go over the wall and blend in with the darkness." he crawled up the wall witch he learned that stone is not easy to scale across and he ended up ripping bricks and rock off the wall as he climbed.

'Eh thanks i guess?" he thought as he quickly jumped over the wall as he was met with landing on a building the same height as the wall.
optical looked down at the city and seen all the lanterns and street lights, " wow it sure is pretty. i would hate to ruin the mood of this place. but i need more information about this world than me at the moment so it is necessary"
he jumped down on a house and slid down the side into a dark alley " just as grimy as i thought. and is that a dead cat! eh" he quickly ran through the streets into other alleys looking like a mere flash of darkness.
Optical stopped for a minute and climbed up a house and accidentally put a hole in the wall from his unstable wall crawling.
"They use ink around here. I can feel it around me in small gatherings in each home i can almost picture what the rooms look like that their in. like echo location? hmm the more i know i guess"
he looked towards the castle that was flooded with gaurds " hmm ill get back with them later before i leave"
he then tried to see if he can hear anything through the ink in the rooms, he was able to hear familiar voices and narrowed it down to three people. jake, Bella, Meria.
"Hmmm it seems maria is the closest ill have a chat with her."
he moved swiftly towards the house that was a decent size he. optical peeked in through the window and was able to see a child a older woman, Meria and a man the same age as Meria.
"They seem to be arguing and yelling at her. dammit i hate saving people but i refuse to turn into a monster. if it was any other person reincarnated, they would use saving their own ass as an excuse but at the point I'm at none of that matters now, doesn't it?"
