The talks with the 80s machos did go on.
Of course, it had to end as well.
Alexander breathed relief when he noticed that the film triage's conversation starters were waning and becoming less frequent.
It was quite a wonder for him to be able to add in what he could add-in. Ever since his re-life, Alexander had already upped his talking quota.
It also meant that he could juggle quite a few conversations that hooked these social giants.
It was also quite a wonder how these considerable Hollywood icons even had topics of conversation that involved a boy like him.
-----
"Well... I hate to break it to you guys but we have to pause our joyous gathering here." Cameron took it to himself to commence the ending deed.
"Why?" Stallone asked with a trace of reluctance. He just heard an interesting action sequence idea from little Alexander and wanted to explore it further.
Throughout their talk, even the skeptical Stallone had to believe that there was more to the little boy than meets the eye.
"I guess you just need to look around to know the answer." Schwarzenneger answered for him.
The answer wasn't unwarranted. Amongst all the hubbub in this messy screening hall, there was no denying about the prying eyes that wanted to know what they were so enjoyably huddling about.
A lot of them even wanted to butt in... but that would ruin the dynamic they had going on.
They also had to consider that their new little friend Alexander seems like the secretive type that didn't want his special secret to being passed around.
"Yeah..." Cameron grimaced and supplemented. "I'm sure you two hunks relish on the attention but it's best we divulge lest our names appear in some whacked-up gossip journal."
"Now that I think about it..." Stallone hummed with amusement. "...wouldn't the three of us seem like huge people ganging up on a little guy?"
Comparing and contrasting things and even noting how muscle massed he was compared to little Alexander, Schwarzenegger hummed. "We sure do."
"I guess this is when we part, little Alex." Cameron had to take initiative. "I have to take these two big guys from here and back to their plus ones."
"Well... good luck on your dates." This was all Alexander could say. He didn't want to spook them off about prophetic words that would more or less predict their messy relationships.
"That's a weird thing to say but we're out of here for now." Cameron said while adding. "I hope our little camaraderie reaches word to your grandpa. Cooperating with me won't be disappointing."
"Also... consider a Terminator comic book for Creed Comics, okay." Cameron had to cheekily add that part.
Of course, it was up to the 80s machos to drag the guy away before their agreed-upon farewell would be extended.
During the time they were together, they knew James Cameron tend to get caught up on things that he was super interested in.
Also... in the much shorter time they were together, they could more or less tell that the little fellow they huddled with... seemed less inclined to be tangled in social hubbubs.
It was a match-up of personalities that amused the two big guys whilst they circumvented the premiere crowd and did their Hollywood-y engagements.
Of course, Alexander waved goodbye to the pixeled Contras dragging James Cameron away. The Titanic director's forlorn Rose eyes seem to gaze at little him as if he was Jack.
No doubt that the man wanted to exchange faculties some more.
Anyways, that was dealt with... and Alexander could mingle with the lady entourage that he was familiar with.
That trio knew more about his non-talking preference in a get-together than the other trio.
-----
Taking his gaze away from the male trio, Alexander was quick to find the female trio.
They weren't too far from their conversation spot after all.
For obvious reasons though, Milla's, Miss Galina's, and Cocky Cox's eyes seemed envious.
There were obvious hints of bitterness as well.
It's hard to blame them. They were just about two arm's length away from all the considerable Hollywood personalities yet they weren't given much attention.
There was the Disney executive. There was a rising director. There was the rising actor mostly paired with said rising director. There was also the Rocky Balboa himself.
Ah... the opportunities, the friendship, and the autographs they could have had if any of those special people took the time to greet them as well.
Alexander could only sigh at his shrink-like observations.
How he hoped that any of them could substitute for him. Socializing was such an exasperating and tedious task.
Alexander didn't like it one bit... but it was a necessary evil!
As melodramatic as it seems for extroverts, it was an unwavering fact for him.
Anyways, he did see hints of amusement from the lady trio. They must have noted his tiredness as well.
As irritating as it was to not be part of the Hollywood circle that they hoped for, it felt interesting to see cold-faced Alex be drained from prolonged talking with strangers.
Alex was just a super strange kid that they were envious of... but can't seem to do so.
They want to be in his spotlight-y spot but didn't want to share his outlook of it.
------
Just as the lady trio and Alexander were about to convene to their established dynamics, a doll-like figure suddenly butted in between them.
The figure then 'bumped' into Alexander and fell right down with an "Oops!" and an "Ouch!"
Being lost in thoughts of exasperation really drowned out a person's reaction to things, so it was hard to notice a running girl.
Alexander didn't have much time to process things objectively and just faulted himself for not evading the charge.
"Sorry about that." He just instinctively reached his hand down and asked. "Are you alright?"
"I'm okay. I'm sorry for rushing." The doll-like figure said while grabbing the helping hand to help herself up.
A doll-like girl and wearily, cold boy... colliding in a busy crowd... holding hands... and fate does its part.
In any case, their faces finally registered with one another when they leveled themselves with each other.
Alexander tsk-ed at that 80s baby face. He just handled a lot of Hollywood personalities already... how come this premiere just had to add another one?
Of course, his next interaction just happened to be... Drew Barrymore!
Alexander felt exasperated at another wave of meet and greet.
------
The boy's un-enthusiasm aside, the girl's outlook was more rose-tinted.
Drew gathered herself. She just wanted to run away from her mother for a while. Why'd she just have to bump into somebody and make a hassle?
Of course, she wanted to berate this nobody for not moving out of her famous way... but...
She saw his dark suit that fit his dark hair and eyes perfectly. T'was a boy her age as well with a handsome face that was so much better than all the boys in auditions she had been a part of.
Dark, chic, fashionable, and they just happened to "bump" into each other like those romance movies she studied.
Was this the light in her recently dark years?
Young Drew's sense of romance found hope from all that she'd been through.
"Oh my god!" Drew can't help herself but ask. "Are you prince charming?!"
Milla, who was not far from her, acted like a kitten whose tail has been stepped on.
"Hisss!!!" Something urged Milica to charge and scratch but it was quite fortunate that her mom and her "sister?" were there to restrain her.
The little girl hissed at the other little girl, leaving everyone who saw the sight to be baffled.
Of course, Miss Galina and Courteney, who knew the underlying reason, grimaced as they dragged little Milica away lest she makes a mess of things.
-----
As for Alexander, he just wanted to sigh and blame romance scenes for corrupting the youth of the 80s.
Why did things just have to be this way?
