If Alex was Mr. Sullivan's grandson, then Mr. Alexander Creed should most likely be his dad.
Alex and Alexander were so similar that it was hard to believe that they had no connections to each other. Were they the most likely father-son duo, or brothers, or cousins, either close or distant relatives... whatever the case, it was not good for silly Courteney.
Courteney's panicky thoughts ran quickly from the blunder and no matter how she looked at it, everything made sense.
The boy knew the place well and even explained to her why CREED was that and why Creed Animations was here.
She even thoughtfully asked herself a question along the lines of 'Are company kids so adept at company operations these days?'
She felt stupid for assuming that the boy was just a normal employee's child with much adept knowledge!
How could a normal employee's boy say that lobbyists were "unnecessary"?
She even gossiping-ly asked if the Creed bosses were the "stingy" type for not hiring lobby people. Wasn't that just smearing mud on his dad and granddad?
She remembered the boy somewhat agreeing to her "stingy" question. She was also stupid to even asked the boy which was the stingy one between his producer granddad and comic maker dad.
The boy answered that it was "definitely Producer Sullivan". Given that old Mr. Creed before her was way too etiquette-y and even criticize such a young boy for not being "socializing" enough, Alex must have a strained relationship with this old man.
Perhaps the old grandfather was too criticizing and harsh that it led him to be badmouthed as "stingy" by his own grandson.
Aah!!! Now that she related new and old information, Courteney wanted to travel back in time and slap her stupid self. How could she be so clueless that she even divulged her schemes to the young a Creed heir himself?
That wasn't the last of it though as what she did next was much more worse and embarrassing.
She practically harangued the boy about Alexander Creed's information and straight out confessed that she wanted to advance her career with Creed connections. It was way too embarrassing and she just wanted to palm herself.
From her research, Alexander Creed was known to be one of the most mysterious people out there. He was talented and scarily influential with the newly popular 'Calvin and Hobbes' but not even the newspaper he worked with could divulge who his true identity was.
Anyone who could comment and say that he was an "emotionless block of ice" with ease must have an extraordinary relationship with him. How could she not have seen that obvious sign?
How could she have asked herself a thoughtful question such as "Although the boy was well-informed, how could an employee's child be that close to the boss?"
The signs were there yet she was foolishly blind to not notice. She was so blind that she sprinted even more with his foolishness.
'Does Mr. Creed have a girlfriend? Maybe a wife or a wife he lost recently?' Courteney had a minor flashback at her stupid self.
If Alex was truly Alexander Creed's son, then how insensitive was she to ask the boy such a painful question? No child must want someone to replace their mother's place right beside their father.
Girl friend without a space. Alex said that Alexander Creed had a girl friend but it may just be a boy's wishful thinking and rebellious denial. Mysterious Mr. Creed's girl friend must be his true girlfriend but Alex hadn't accepted her in any way.
The boy denied that Mr. Creed had a wife or an ex-wife and Courteney believed that it may be that the boy truly hadn't accepted the separation or the loss.
Little Alex also didn't disclose much to her because her likability points must have dropped to the negatives and wanted to enact childish revenge by having her make of herself.
Courteney could not imagine how much her likability points had reached the negative hundreds with what she did next.
She enforced that she was PRETTY!
PRETTY to the point he could melt Mr. Creed's supposedly ice coldness.
PRETTY to the point that she'd just judge whether Creed Entertainment and Creed Pictures were acceptable to her... and then... maybe she'll be Mrs. Creed!
She even bragged about giving the boy's parent or guardian some fast-track company promotion if she got the Mrs. Creed position. How could a marrying in as a pretty wife be able to promote the Creed owners themselves? That was too improbable!
She had even bribed the boy with all the toys and snacks he could want.
The more Courteney thought back and ruminated on this, the more she wanted to find a hole to bury herself. She had no idea where she got such an "apt expression for embarrassment" but she really wanted to literally do it.
AAAAAHHHH!!! Courteney! You cocky and arrogant idiot!
-----
A woman's thoughts processed quite quick indeed... much more so for an embarrassed one.
Of course, while her elongated 'eeeehhh!' expression shocked her up, Old Sullivan and the rest were shocked by her abrupt 'eeh' face as well.
"Is there something wrong Miss Cox?" Old Sullivan asked but he could still see how much embarrassment shocks coursed through her within a matter of minutes from her expressions alone.
"No! No! Mr. Creed, it's just that I said something silly to little Alex earlier." Courteney was flustered and she could only come clean. Fortunately, she also remembered that she brushed everything off as a "joke" and "Creed fan-ing" to the boy.
"Oh. Now I'm curious what it is." How could Old Sullivan miss out on Alex gossip? "Care to share."
"I-I-It's nothing really." Courteney was flustered but she also cast a pleading glance to little Alex as she said. "I just hope that little brother Alex wouldn't pass my silly joke to Mr. Alexander Creed himself."
"Uhh..." Sullivan was confused but he also realized her confusion. He could only blame his 'Alex-calling' habit. "I'm sorry if my words had misled you Miss Cox but Alex is Alexander himself. Why couldn't he pass on some silly joke to himself?"
"Eh!" Courteney could only go for an 'eh' face from what she heard. Her quick feminine thoughts adjusted from [little bro Alex: son or relative of Alexander Creed] to [little bro Alex: Alexander Creed himself].
Of course, her expression only grew from a quick 'eh!' as her face screamed. "Eeeehhh!!!"
She turned herself to the calm little brother to try and process everything as she could while Alexander felt that her expression seemed to be missing something...
"Alex, what did you do?" Seeing the pretty lady's shocked attention to his grandson, who else could Old Sullivan blame than the boy? "You'd better calm Miss Cox down or fix whatever your abnormalness had done to her."
Alexander was amused but he also thought that he brought things too far.
However, it would seem that Seasoned Hayao had something to say. "Miss Cox!Subarashii!!"
Old Sullivan turned to Seasoned Hayao. "Do you know something, Mr. Miyazaki?"
"Don't you see, Mr. Creed- san?" Seasoned Hayao seemed touched. Unlike the British Creed, he was much close to home with oriental traced actions. "Miss Cox's current expression, mannerism, and aura point out to only one character... Doragon Buro's Bulma!"
Old Sullivan read Dragonball and subscribe to Bulma's journey as well. Now that Mr. Miyazaki pointed it out, the way that Miss Cox looked at his little nonchalant grandson with 'eh' shock could be traced to a certain comic book panel.
It wasn't that his abnormal grandson had broken this new lady, it was just she was method acting for the voice acting role.
Seasoned Hayao and Old Sullivan could not help but just applaud at this lady's dedication to her craft.
"Splendid! Miss Cox!"
"Subarashii Miss Cox!"
"Subarashii indeed." Alexander muttered with amusement. These lot of people before him seem to misunderstand a lot of things quite easily.
However... he also can't deny that whether it was coincidence or truly method acting, it would seem that his interaction with future Monica Geller of Friends seems to be laced with a lot of Bulma tropes.
Gossip, curiosity, cocky, perfect boyfriend?, and now the 'eh!' expression. It would seem that Miss Cox may just be born for the part as she was kinda Bulma-esque.
