As Creeds has set their ambitions high and as gratifying the beginning of everything was, the process was still slow and a lot of time is needed for their efforts to truly ferment.
Each episode would take months to finish and that time multiplies when the entire series is considered.
That production time might even be raised some more as the spoiling budget would allow the animation team to explore on a lot of possibilities.
To err was also unavoidable, so such setback was also a factor of time extension.
Creed Animations' taking on the task of two animation projects is already quite ambitious but there was not much doubt that this was the choice they were going for.
The four 'animation' compartments would have to divide and conquer among the two long-produced shows.
Also, before Seasoned Hayao heads back to Japan for the historical Studio Ghibli to be established, a lot of consultations had to be done.
Although production managers and sub-directors are already on standby, having a prime director like Mr. Hayao Miyazaki is much needed.
Anyways, those matters are set to be tackled in the months to come and Alexander was just looking forward to finishing February.
With all the romance genres, DC challenges, animation matters, Seasoned Hayao acquaintancing, budget plannings, storyboarding hecticness, school attendances, and animation phase considerations, Alexander's 2nd month into 1985 was superbly eventful that it's scary!
He was so career-oriented that even he is fearing himself. Was he so super focused on business growing that he was already bordering the points of workaholicism that he always mocked?
Perhaps he was already a workaholic at some certain point in his re-life. Was there even a difference between being super-focused and being a workaholic?
Whatever the case was, he just wanted to finish the 28th of the Valentine month with some time to himself... albeit still being present in school. However, it beats all the other serious stuff he had gone through.
... Of course... since he was already a business-focused robot with workaholicism, he had to wrap up the busy month with some simple agendas that needed to be addressed.
-----
With the 28th being a Thursday and the school day coming to an end, Alexander convened with Milla in the waiting spot. Miss Galina would be picking them up but there was still enough alone time for one of the last February agenda to be done.
Frankly, doing what he was about to do would aggravate the weird state that Milla is in for the past few weeks but it was the most near the 11th-hour submission that he had to do.
Any later wouldn't fit the season and any later would cheapen the sentimentality once she found out that he forgot to give it to her earlier due to all the busyness.
"Hey, Milla." Alexander simply went on with it as he grabbed something from his bag.
"What is it?" The girl had a confounded look on her face as Alex never really initiates many conversations.
"Just wanted to give you this?" The boy didn't dally much as he handed her a box of chocolates.
"What's this for?" Her confusion was topped with a new wave of confusion but her deductive capabilities kicked in... along with the feeling that grew since her baptism through Hotaru and Shinri's love story.
"Is this a late Valentines' gift?!" Milla's eyes lit up and a warm sensation seem to be blossoming from her tiny heart.
"You could say that as it is in theme with Valentines..." Alexander continued. "... but you can also consider it as a thank you."
"A thank you for what?" She asked with joy while holding unto the gift with great happiness. Whatever the reason was, the chocolates seems special enough for her to disregard everything else.
Her brightened expression and shift in mood did not go unnoticed to Alexander. For weeks now, she had been doing this lovestruck routine for whatever random thing he's made. He would be quite blind or dense to not notice.
He was going to divulge that the chocolate was thanks for her help during his birthday's chaos monster crisis. However, the little girl's blossoming love would probably break when he does such an insensitive move.
Perhaps it was best that he keep that truth to himself and give little Milica a simple white lie.
While he was already late on the American Valentine tradition, he could still be super early on the Japanese White Day with a white-themed gift.
Maybe he was even quite receptive to her feelings as he just had to go with a chocolate gift in February when he could have gone for another Alice doll.
Alexander could only sigh at the prospects of emotion.
"Consider a thank you for being such a great friend." This was what he went with and it seems to be just right with Milla smiling quite beautifully.
Her thoughts were led astray though as her romance learning led her to not able to deny the feelings she has for friend Alex.
Eventually, she was turning quite pink at a noticeable rate that Alexander had to intervene lest the blood-gush fainting incident happen. "Milla, you're way too red that the rest of Valentines seem to pale in comparison. Are you alright?"
"Uhm... I'm fine." She tried schooling her expression through her acting skills but the blush and Alex look-aways weren't helping her in any bit.
The situation only escalated the more they were together. Clearly, being close to the source of her blushing fever wasn't helping Milla's cause.
Fortunately, Ms. Galina and her car parked at the most opportune time. Her chauffering responsibilities were quite honed already and her arrivals seem to be quite on point.
As the little duo got on their respective seats, they may have had a tacit understanding to keep their late chocolate giving and blushing fiasco to themselves.
It would just complicate things further if the spoiling Sullivan and intervening Galina were thrown into the mix.
-----
Of course, while Milla was still blushingly quiet on her seat and Miss Galina was driving with some bits of small talk, the final February agenda could finally be said.
In any case, the agendas revolved around the Jovovich ladies. While the chocolate agenda was best kept for Milla and him, this agenda needs to be discussed with both mother and daughter on board.
Alexander simply relayed it. "By the way, Miss Galina. Although I haven't discussed the feasibilities with my grandfather yet, what do you guys think about having Milla be part of our animation production?"
Milla's lovestruck state was disturbed by that while Miss Galina had to slow down her driving lest they swerve from her shock.
Miss Galina knew about Creed Animations and was waiting for this chance. "Will she be a voice actor? If so, who will her character be?"
"Unfortunately, it's not voice acting." Alexander shook his head while the Jovovich ladies were in dismay. Although voice acting was not ideal for stardom, it was better than nothing.
"What will I do then?" Milla questioned as she felt a bit helpless. "I don't know anything about drawing and animation stuff."
"Frankly, it has something to do with music." Alexander divulged with ease while remembering bits of the little Milica's Divine Comedy album. "I'm planning for some animation end credit songs and I was wondering whether Milla can sing it?"
He may not need a verbal answer though as he could feel their excitement emanating inside the car.
"Yes!! Yes!!" Little Milica exclaimed from the big news. She was so excited that she almost slipped up. "I love you A... ehm... as a friend Alex!"
Fortunately, Miss Galina hadn't noticed the near-confession slip up as her thoughts were on booking her daughter for singing classes.
