'Maybe I deserve this... or maybe this girl is just nuts. Just because I saw her goods or snuck a look, DOESN'T FUCKING MEAN I DESERVE THIS.' Down in their cozy little bunker was a now dressed Helena with a now naked Ash. His face was changing so many times there was no telling what was going through his head.
Helena looked at Ash's goodies. Seeing him shivering in the cold brought a head nod followed by one from her heron. "Now we are even. I have seen in you what you have seen of me."
Ash just completely erupted. "WHAT THE FUCK?!! I saved you from a fucking battlefield, making an enemy out of some talented ass who wanted to rape you, you fucking idiot. You're lucky I even helped you. Fuck, I bet anyone who knew about this would feel the same as me."
Pocket, Ash, and Grim were all bound in ice chains as they occasionally shook from the cold. Grim's eyes wandered across Ash's naked body in confusion at the shriveled thing between his legs. Pocket himself.... sent messages of approval at Ash's nakedness.
'Are you guys serious, stop asking questions Grim and Pocket, no you can't go walking around completely naked. You're keeping the loin cloth you've been wearing so far, Stop asking.'
Grim looked depressed while Pocket started to spit at Ash. Helena watched with cold indifference, not responding to Ash's comment. A glare in her eyes as she walked to Ash and kicked him flying into the armory wall.
Gone was the awkward and foolish atmosphere and now a permeating sense of arrogance took center. "I disdain to tell you my name but a mere peasant shouldn't dream of thinking you will walk away that easy. You only live because you saved my life. Call it a courtesy that I didn't kill one of your bonds as payment for seeing my innocence." Ice spread across the floor with every step and she stopped just next to Pocket and Grim. The bonds looked at the girl with anger now but a single glance and they shook.
The woman embodied ice and her very presence announced arrogance. "My name is Helena." She paused her very speech as though thinking for a minute. Her heron preoccupied with resting perked up at her pausing statement. Her eyes changed as she looked at Ash a shift subtle enough to go unnoticed by the trio.
"Helena, Helena the Frigid." A now regal aura accompanied her, as though it was a defining moment in her life. Throwing an ice spear she nailed Ash's arm to a wall as he wailed.
"Ahhhhh, ahhh!" Looking at the girl he'd saved Ash's eyes shrunk as if seeing her for the first time. He grew deathly silent as though he'd come to understand what the condescending look in her eyes meant. The severity of the matter weighing his shoulders. Turning to his bond, Ash looked at Grim who's was trembling but felt the will to battle, he then turned to Pocket and saw his trembling form. Fear screaming through their link.
The beginnings of laughter wanted to surge despite the pain but was quickly strangled. Eyes closed; Ash just breathed.
"I apologize. Urgh, please don't hurt my bonds and I."
"I told you my name because if I ever hear you talking about this incident again, I will flay you and your bonds alive." Helena walked to the other end of the armory and laid against her bond as they cultivated quietly. Ash didn't say a word as he broke the spear after a few labored attempts. The chains still bound him but he rolled over to his two bonds and sat with them he grabbed them the best he could and hugged them. A puncture wound now dead center of his bicep.
"Everything is going to be ok." Switching to his link he spoke. "Don't be afraid. We're going to get through this, just focus on me." Blood dripping from his wound, a rhythmic noise in the otherwise bleak stillness. Channeling his blood affinity, Ash slowly stopped the bleeding.
An hour later the girl and her bond blew through the shoddily made hole and left. Not a word was spoken to either party.
Keeping his eyes closed and back facing her. Using berserk and circulating his blood as fast as possible. Ashton broke his chains and proceeded to break his partner's chains.
Opening his eyes Ash spoke aloud. "Today we were disrespected. An ungrateful noble woman pointed her sword at us and threatened to kill me - no kill us, and looked at us like we were nothing." A presence of utter anger and determination radiated, the spilling blood from his wounded arm and the fatigue from continuous battles did nothing to abate the resolve Ash had.
"I'll remember this, Helena. Wait, just you fuckers wait until I topple your thrones." Grim rallied at the words while Pocket hugged his leg.
