In the village, the buildings begin to repair on their own as the cook's kitchen begins to become bigger and higher quality. The two kids sitting in his dining hall watch as they glow a bit, getting cleaned up and losing their sickness. The kids smile wide as they rush outside to see the traveler, the woodsman, and the beast walking down the street pulling along the two bandits who are now tied up and defeated with sad looks on their faces.
Airi "You did it! You made us all better like you said!"
She says happily. Many other people come out with happy looks on their faces as they begin to cheer for the adventurers. After a moment, however, they stop when they see the royal family make their way down the street in their carriage. The people look confused and concerned about the king's arrival. They stop just before the group as the king steps out and looks upon the crowd before landing his eyes on the traveler. The beast hides his face under his cloak as the king announces.
Kuzan "We had caught wind that the lover bandits that have terrorized our kingdom have finally been caught and I have come here to see to it that they make it to our deepest dungeons personally."
The woodsman steps forward holding the ropes binding the two and hands them to the advisor who ties them up to the back of the carriage.
Alice "Good riddance!"
Lucy "Finally getting what they earned!"
The people shout with joyous tones at the bandits before the king raises his hand calling for silence. Everyone goes silent for a moment before he speaks.
Kuzan "There is another matter at hand. In regards to the missing prince."
The Lady looks at the king with a worried expression.
Kuzan "I have been given a vision. It showed me that the prince is right here in this very village as we speak. And for that, I have this brave traveler to thank."
He looks at the traveler and gives a slight bow with his arm across his chest. The traveler gets embarrassed.
Shiori "Please, you don't have to do that my king! I'm happy to help!"
The king stands up with a soft smile and turns to the beast with the cloak over his face.
Kuzan "Please, step forward my son."
After a moment of hesitation and everyone turning to look at the beast, he does as he is asked and steps forward out of the crowd and towards the king, pulling off the hood of the cloak. Everyone gasps at the sight of the beast and whispers amongst themselves. The beast looks worried as the king stares at him.
Hikigaya "I am sorry for being gone so long and becoming a shame to the royal family."
Suddenly, the king hugs the beast tightly.
Kuzan "It's just good to know you're okay."
He says with tears rolling down his face. The beast gently hugs him back as the lady smiles happily with tears coming out too.
Milo "I'm so glad you're alive!"
She shouts as the knight gives him a thumbs up with a soft smile. The ing steps back from hugging his son and smiles.
Kuzan "All of this peace and prosperity is thanks to the actions of this brave traveler. She brought down the bandits, found the Wishing Rose and even returned my son. For that, I commend you dear traveler and from now on make you an honorable royal."
The traveler gets a surprised look that turns to shock after a moment as the others all cheer. Everyone starts patting her on the back and congratulating her as the king leans closer to the beast and whispers.
Kuzan "A girl with such determination and adventurous spirit would make a great princess, no?"
The beast rolls his eyes as the king laughs.
Kuzan "In honor of the kingdom being whole again, a banquet will be called!"
The people cheer as they make their way to the large dining hall of the castle. The young kids and other people enjoy delicious food as the cook from the inn cooks behind the line of food happily. The handmaid stands next to the king as he eats as well. He looks at her for a moment before speaking.
Kuzan "It is a happy day for the kingdom. Go enjoy yourself with the others, it is a day of celebration, not duty."
She nervously accepts and makes her way to an open seat at the table. She sits down at the same time as the woodsman which accidentally knocks over an empty cup. They both offer to pick it up and touch each other's hand. They blush and pull away embarrassedly. The traveler sits next to the beast as they both enjoy the food as well.
Shiori "So, does this make me a princess now?"
He pauses for a moment before awkwardly saying.
Hikigaya "I could make you one if you wanted."
She blushes for a moment before slowly nodding.
Shiori "I think I would like that…"
The beast blushes as well as they both lean in close, slowly, before kissing each other softly. The lady gets angry as the knight pats her on the back as the curtains close over the traveler and the beast kissing.
The End.
The crowd cheers and claps with joy as Ms. Samuel steps back on stage in front of the curtains.
Samuel "That was The Traveler, The Beast and The Wishing Rose performed by class 2-1! I hope you all enjoyed it, now let's give one more big round of applause for our wonderful students!"
The curtains pull back one more time revealing the class standing hand in hand with large smiles on their faces as the crowd all cheers for them. They take a quick bow and look around as their parents cheer the loudest. With all the cheering and clapping, Hikigaya's vision starts to get blurry. He squints for a moment as his hearing begins to ring and his eyes start to glow a bright green. His hand loosens and Shiori immediately realizes since she was holding his hand. She looks at him and sees him staring ahead with a blank expression.
Shiori "Hikigaya? Hikigaya!"
She shouts his name and yanks his arm a bit causing his eyes to change back to normal and snapping him out of it. He looks at her confused.
Shiori "Are you okay?"
Hikigaya "Yeah. Yeah, I'm fine."
She gives him a slightly concerned look before Samuel speaks again.
Samuel "Thank you all so much for coming! Please, enjoy the rest of your night, we hope we made it better for you! Goodnight!"
The class bows one more time as the crowd slowly makes their way out of the building. The class makes their way back to their classroom, still hyped after the performance.
Chizuru "That was so fun! I can't believe we did that!"
Airi "I thought I was gonna die, that was so stressful!"
Haru "Haha! You almost did from your 'sickness.'"
He says, playfully poking fun at her character.
Milo "I can't believe I wasn't the one to kiss Hiki…"
Tsuki pats her on the back.
Tsuki "I know how you feel."
As the class laughs, Samuel comes in after them.
Samuel "That was incredible. You guys did so amazing!"
She begins hugging the students tightly as a couple of them try to escape her grasp.
Samuel "You have been the best class I could've ever asked for. I'm so proud of all of you. For being so good, I promise we'll have a party next week."
She says as the class gets excited.
Daiki "I can't wait!"
Suiyoubi "You're the best Ms. Samuel!"
The other students begin thanking and complimenting her as she blushes a bit.
Samuel "Okay, okay, I know. Now get going. Your parents are probably all waiting for you outside."
She encourages the students out as they all say their goodbyes. Samuel stands by the entrance of the school, watching the students leave with their families as someone walks up behind her.
Ashley "Hey Samuel, nice play earlier."
She is startled by her voice and jumps back.
Samuel "Ashley?! What are you doing here?"
Ashley "Well with the play going on tonight, there's a lot more action on campus so Principal Ai asked me to stay later to make sure everything stays nice and tidy. There's a couple other janitors around too."
Samuel "O-oh, that makes sense…"
Ashley "I couldn't help but stop by and watch the performance though. I heard you directed the whole thing after kicking out that ass Blank or whatever his name was. That's really cool of you."
Samuel blushes in embarrassment as she nervously speaks to Ashley.
Samuel "Haha yeahhh I guess it was kinda cool."
Ashley smiles softly at her.
Ashley "We should go out."
Samuel is surprised by the sudden statement. She blushes as she responds.
Samuel "O-out?! Like, out out?"
Ashley "Why not? My dumbass boyfriend and I just broke up, so it's not like he gets a say in anything anymore."
Samuel blushes and smiles awkwardly.
Samuel "Okay, yeah! Let's go out."
Ashley "Great, I'll pick you up. You have my number, right?"
Samuel "Yeah."
Ashley gives her a smile before continuing back into the school. She stops a couple steps away and gives Samuel a wink before leaving. Samuel stares for a moment while blushing before trembling to her knees with a dumb smile on her face.
Samuel "She's so hot."
The night comes to an end with a successful performance.
At school, the class, now back together entirely, changes in the locker rooms. One by one, the students come out of the locker room and to the school pool in their school assigned swimsuits. Alice holds herself embarrassedly as Suiyoubi steps up next to her.
Alice "This is so dumb… Why do we have to do a swimming unit?.."
Suiyoubi "Because it is important we know how to swim. And it's great fitness."
She says happily. Alice still looks embarrassed as Mormo steps out from behind Suiyoubi.
Mormo "Between me and you, I don't care for water much either."
Ryuji "Is that because you're a stuffed animal?"
He says walking behind them. Mormo turns with an offended look.
Mormo "No, in fact it has very little to do with being a stuffed animal, thank you very much. We ghouls happen to be allergic to water. It makes our skin burn and itch and stuff."
Suiyoubi "I thought ghouls liked to drink water?"
Mormo "Not on my planet, they don't- WOAH, hubbah hubbah!"
His eyes turn to hearts as Chizuru and Lucy step out onto the pool deck.
