"OK young ones, today marks the second day of our class. I'm sure even if you understood last week's lesson you would forget by now so don't worry. Today we will work on practical skills." Ravi announced swinging down from a tree. "You will first have to find a brother or sister then once you do you will need to form a pack."
Inu raised his hand. "Sir Ravi? I'm an only child so what do I do?"
Ravi laughs wildly. "Sometimes I forget things! So a brother or sister in that way is just a partner to practice with, and a pack is a group of ten or less. In this case, a pack of four is what I'm looking for."
Ravi walked around looking at the groups and stopped when he got to Keith. He looked him up and down then looked over at his partner. "I've never taught an Elf before nor a light type so this will be a learning experience for us both! And you are a...? Misani? Half-breed Giant?"
"He's a Giant. Just smaller than normal." Keith answered.
"Hmm?" Ravi got close to the Giant's face. "Names and ages? I'd like to get to know the two unique students. Especially the light Elf and earth Giant."
"I'm Keith, eight years old and he's either Tiny or Teej whichever you prefer, nine years old," Keith announced.
"Tiny? Isn't that kinda mean to call a giant? He also has made no effort to speak, is there a reason?" Ravi asked while getting close to Teej and examining him.
Teej started to move his hands and make shapes. Keith noticed Teej and looked back to Ravi. "I know Teej you don't have to tell me and he wouldn't understand what you are saying. Teej has taken a vow of silence due to his size. His people be-"
"Belief in The God of Giants Jormun? So self-imposed silence to earn his blessing huh? Doing so at a young age will get you the soul of a dragon my boy."
"Hey, do you guys need two more?" Scarlet asked dragging Deamon behind her.
"Birds of a feather you might say," Ravi said while backing up.
"Excuse me, sir?" Keith asked.
"Oh just that all four of you are unique in your own way. But anyways back to the lesson since you were the last group." Ravi replied then raising his voice, "Now children remember these groups because they will be your groups with me until you finish the teachings. The first group will be your brother or sister and the second will be your pack. Now onto the first lesson, we will be learning how to control and use the mana within our bodies to move it around. That will be the first step we take and we can move on once everyone succeeds."
"Ok it's a little past midday and we have one who's starting to feel the mana in their body. Keith being an Elf makes it easier sure but if you need help you can ask him if I'm not around." Ravi noted. "So are you starting to get the-"
Ravi became distracted because Hawks had arrived with an older dark-colored male bird Feral. "M...may we help you Hawks?"
The man replied, "We shall wait till your session is done before we conduct our business."
"I was just wrapping up so you can go ahead, sir," Ravi said.
"Then I shall take you up on that Instructor Ravi. Deamon? Can you come with us, please? We have some things to discuss." The man said.
Damon hesitantly moved toward them. "It's quite alright Deamon, you're not in trouble or anything," Hawks reassured him.
"Yes let's go over here to be a little more private." The man said.
Once they got a good distance from the 3333 has come bearing news."2
The Feral she introduced was a raven Feral wearing robes like those of a shaman." Yes, you must be Deamon it's nice to meet you. I have come on behalf of Lady Elnora about your results." Noct said.
"Results...?"
"Yes, your results! It seems they have determined that you are permitted to use the whole of the elven library, and with me matching it, the whole of the dragon library as well." Noct explained.
"I...I passed?" Deamon asked.
"Passed with flying colors it seems. They are even letting you use the restricted texts as am I." Noct added.
"Restricted texts? What are those?" Deamon questioned.
Noct let out a light laugh, "The restricted texts are restricted for one reason or another. Some are labeled that way because they deal in magic but most of them are untranslated from dead dialects. Now with this knowledge, you can help the village or even be an instructor when you come of age."
Hawks had a smile on her face "isn't this exciting Deamon? Now you have all the knowledge of the forest at your fingertips. Next, you'll have to win over the dwarves to get access to their books or skills."
Deamon was dumbfounded, why was he able to use all of the libraries when others couldn't. Either way, he wouldn't let this chance miss him by and he would read anything he could get his hands on to help his people.
