I look up at the eyes I've grown to love so much and he smiles down at me, looking like he has a question to ask me.
"Dude, I can almost see the question bursting out of your mind. What is it?" I ask, laughing well I'm saying it, because he's tickling me.
"Okay okay I will. Y/n, I've known you for many, many years. We have been best friends for all of it. And I've liked you for all of it as well. I was hoping you would make me a very happy man and go on a date with me?" I look at him with a surprised face and he smirks at my reaction. "What, hard to believe I would put up with your ass, let alone like you, for so long?" I smile at that and push him back, a classic move when I want to tease him. He pushes me back and it starts a small fight between us, one he ends quickly. He grabs my hands to keep me from hitting him again. He pulls me towards him and asks again. "Do you care to go on a date with me y/n? It's a simple yes or no question!"
I turn to him, my breath catching about how close we are but then I start breathing normally again. "Of course I'll go on a date with you h/n. Why didn't you ask me sooner?" I try not to sound annoyed at him, other though I think my face says otherwise. "And will you just kiss me already! I've been waiting for you to kiss me for years by now."
"Well, I would hate to disappoint." He laughs and pulls my mouth to his, savoring my lips like they are lollipops. Then his tongue dips into my mouth and I moan against his lips, making him smile and laugh against mine.
