Noah heard Celine's loud screams and he paused and wondered where she could be.
Celine screamed, and her voice echoed in his ears and he called out her name. He followed the sound of her voice and ran towards the hill and he looked around wondering where she is.
Celine noticed his pair of boots, her hands were almost slipping and she cried, "help me.."
Noah turned and he spotted her dangling at the cliff, and approached her. Her hands slipped from the rocks, and Noah quickly stretched his hands to hers and grabbed them.
"Hold on to me, hold on tight." He yelled, and Celine nodded. Her hand was wrapped around his arm like a coiling snake.
Noah pulled her with his might and he dragged her and sighed. Celine's dress was covered with the mud, and she threw herself into Noah's arms sobbing on his shoulder like a child.
Noah pulled her from his arms and he curiously asked staring at her face, "are...are you alright? Did you get wounded or bruised? Tell me where it hurts."
"I'm fine Noah. I can't help but wonder how I'll be if you did not show up. You are my angel Noah."
"Don't feel indebted to me cause it is my duty to protect you. I'd be sorry if you fell off that cliff. So come on, let's go."
Celine hugged him tightly and he said, "you must be famished. I've got some roasted corn and fresh fruits for you."
Celine wrapped her hands around his waist and she hugged him tightly, "I don't want to leave your arms, I don't want to be separated from you again."
"Nothing's gonna happen to you, I'm here besides you. So let's go?"
Celine moved from his arms and she sniffed and nodded. Noah clenched her hand and they walked away.
They arrived at the hut and Noah tried to pull his hand off Celine's. Celine firmly held his hand and shook her head.
"It's alright, I'm just gonna go get some roasted corns."
Celine hugged him tightly, and tears were dropping from her eyes, "I don't want to eat, just don't go away from me. Don't go away please."
"Celine I'm not running away, I'm just gonna get us food. The snacks are just over there. I won't take long, I will be quick."
Celine moved from his arms and she stared at him leaving. Noah paused and he turned to her, "go on get in, I will be back."
Celine shook her head.
"I am coming back, I promise you."
Celine walked into the hut and she sniffed. She felt quite frightened and she tried to open the door to run to him and she paused as his voice echoed in her ears, "I am coming back, I promise you."
She crossed her arms around her chest, "he's gonna come back. I won't be here alone. He'll return to me."
She started thinking about Edward, and tears were streaming down her eyes, "dad...Papa, Papa. I really miss you."
