Synopsis
- Before starting I want to say this. That this story is a mix of ideas I had that came to life with inspiration from a few stories I loved. While some of it comes from my actual experiences when I was a teen. It won’t be messy because I actually have a good idea where I want to go with the story, I’m not the best writer but I wanted to try my hand at my own novel. Please enjoy. A boy finds himself brought back from the dead in a way he never expected, trying to adjust to his new life is not as simple as he thought it would be, he comes to find this out sooner then he hoped. With violence at every turn and a strange love triangle going on. This story follows him while he try’s to manage his chaotic life packed full of violence, gangs, crazy girls, small family and the past that threatens to consume him. The story does have a system but it’s more like a driving point to give the story direction, it won’t be annoying or all in your face. Some key points being. It has drama, it has mushy love, mature topics that many might not want to talk about so I’m warning you. There is also a lot of slice of life and action I think comes together well. The Mc is dropped into the middle of a new life, so if the relationships he has look fast that will be explained. The Mc does have more then one girl, yet it’s nothing over board and if you read you’ll see why it’s not just as simple as him having girlfriends. There is a little revenge, betrayal and i don’t know if it’s NTR? If it was before he knows anything but i guess. I’m just letting you know now. I’m not good at this so give it a try if you want, if not that’s fine to I just wanted to try my hand at writing something that was my own.

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Happy New Year

The moon placed herself high in the sky while shadows from it's all encompassing glow shifted, the elongation of each high-rise and skyscraper branched out over this large city. The sounds of the night life came together in a mixture of drunken yells, laughing sl*ts and chaotic sounds of footsteps. The noise only drowned out by the cars that rushed along the roads full of people, bringing it all together in a harmonious symphony of shit.

On this night of the new year, fire works screamed across the sky, bringing brilliant colors of different kinds to life. While there thunderous sounds drowned out the yells of people stopping to watch them. Flashes of camera's went off as couples hugged and kissed, never knowing that something more was going on not far away. Down a dark alley off the main branch of the spectacles going on, water dripped off of a few hanging ac units. The melodic drips canceled out by someone laying on the ground.

"Uhh, fu*k'em. They just left me here.. I can't even move and they had the audacity to leave me here of all places. Not at the club, hell not even my own home but in this shit hole."

A strained voice full of anger echoed out of the alleyway. If one looked closely they could see a small silhouette of a person who laid amongst the filth.

All manor of people passed by the alleyway, having a merry time while the boy called out. Even if they heard him most would turn a blind eye to it. Thinking the person was drunk or homeless and didn't want to involve themselves in the matter. Some who passed by simply didn't give a fu*k about the problems of others and wouldn't help even if they could.

"Why am I calling out? it's New Years. Who would actually care about someone they don't know, Uh. Even more so in a city like this full of people who care only for themselves and nothing more."

Rolling over the boy felt his shirt drag across the dirty water under him, feeling his muscles yell in protest at him who still tried to move. The boy reached out his hand looking at his bloody knuckles. Squeezing them because he knew better then anyone, no one was going to help him.

"Ah! I'm really going to die like this?! In this alleyway.. I should have known better, trust is something easy to give away but hard to keep. People will use you like a stepping stone if you don't watch your back. They only care if it is beneficial to them, ha. Must be why that bitch and my so called friends did it to me."

The frustration built up inside the boy as he rolled over. The vapor coming from his cracked lips while he tried to breathe deeply. Only to be Assaulted by sharpe pains as his chest tightened.

"Lisa, mark, Kyle, Luca, Christiana, misha, fu*k every last one of you. Was it really worth it? I was the one who supported you through everything, even when misha and Lisa fucked around I didn't treat them like bitches. Should have known better… especially the way they were around the guys. Why am I crying about this? It's not like I can do anything about it now."

Cursing in his mind about the misfortunes that had happened to him, along with the way he helped each and everyone of his 'friends' or 'lovers'. Rubbing his hand across his stomach, the stickiness was a telling sign but even more so the thick smell of iron. His brow bent in an unnatural way from the pain of dragging it across the large scar on his stomach. Slowly pulling it to his beaten face looking at the crimson thick color of his own blood, watching as it dripped down his finger tips and on to his face.

"No use crying about it now.. they will get what's coming to them. Love me for life.. huh? Boys till the end? What a bunch of shit. It's always the knife in the back you don't see coming."

His speech became sloppy while he tried to pull air into his lungs. His brain began the process of numbing him, sending an Immense amount of serotonin into him to stop the pain that racked his body. Trying to help him to accept that his life was ending his brain pulled him away from the world. Wanting to bring comfort to him, he felt so separated from everything around himself. The world around him seemed to fall silent. The echoing of his unsteady heart beating against his eardrums, the boys hand dropped and turned his head towards the moon. Watching the lights start to mix into a water painting of beautiful colors, he laughed for a minute and soon smiled.

'At least I got to see something like this.. what a fu*cked up mess. Happy new year, I guess.' The boys thoughts slowly becoming blurry while he watched the beautiful sight above him. Closing his eyes from the weight that pressed down on them each time he blinked, until they didn't open again.

The boys chest stopped moving after a while and the pool of blood mixed with the dirty water below his body. Screams and yells still carried themselves in the air, enjoying the new year while none knew of the tragedy that happened in this lonely alleyway.

The drips of blood from his fingers fell into the water below, the ripples spreading out across it while the moons reflection from above turned red. The blood obscuring it's glow while the moon high in the sky became dim. The yells and cheers of the people soon stopped echoing, Standing frozen in place while a drop of blood floated up from the pool.

The blood falling off of the floating sphere like object. Revealing a marble like blue light that moved with the wind in a strange fashion, before making its way over to the boys body.

"What a pity…humans are such fragile creatures. Many of these lowly beings at least. Greed, lust, sorrow, they all effect these humans so much with very little effort. You have been caught up in others lust for power and even if you did not actually want this. Look at where it's gotten you. Friends become enemies and lovers become. . . What's that word you humans like? Who*es, right? Even so I have found that it is much more fun…to watch what a pure heart can do when racked with anger and thoughts of revenge."

A voice spread out from the light in this alleyway, it carried a weight that shook the buildings around it. While most would only hear a ear piercing noise as there ears would bleed from trying to listen. It commented on the state of the world and boy almost as if disappointed. The voice soon became calmer while the light began to Pulse in a mix of hypnotic colors.

"You are not the only one that has met misfortune tonight…so I will do this for you. What would you do if you had the power to live a different life? What if the world was not as you remembered it? What would you do if you found a way to right this wrong that's happened to you. Would you live a different life in a new body or would your heart be consumed by your want for revenge. I guess. I can only wait and see. . . So please.. do not disappoint me."

The voice spoke while a pillar of white light came out of the boys chest, slowly it climbed higher into the sky until it almost touched the clouds. Not only that but farther away to the east another pillar climbed, the only differences being the brighter it glowed. The red color of crimson it gave off and the more solid it seemed to become over time.

"Good luck.. hell, maybe you'll just die again? Who knows."

The voice spoke one more time before the pillars glowed in a oppressive light. The shine blocking out the moon as they flashed and disappeared. The people started to move again and shook their heads. Their ears ringing while their eyes tried to focus even doing this they couldn't stop the indescribable fear that welled up in there chest. Soon the fire works screamed again, bursting in a Chaotic mess of sounds to cover the noise of the peoples hearts. Like this humans pushed this out of their mind as they went back to their own little worlds.

Far to the east of this large city a burst of energy rippled out. From the point of the blast block upon block started to go dark. The lights from shops started to flicker as the world distorted. After an hour or so the ripples stopped and the world returned to its normal state.

This part of the city was home to many, a large part of it being Korean and Japanese. All manor of shops and styles of neon glowing signs that lined restaurants gave it away. Near one such shop there was steam coming from its cloth like flaps that covered those who entered from the rain. People talked and laughed while they ate. Giving it a feeling of peacefulness unlike the messy noise of the inner city.

The red tiled roof made a pattern of noise as the rain started to fall from the sky. People eating peered out side moving the cloth to complain about the sudden rain. Not even noticing right next to the shop leaning against it was a figure. His head slumped over and his arms were on his knees. The burgundy colored bomber jacket seemed wrinkled as the rain started to soak in to it. Even the black supreme hoodie underneath was now heavy and wet. The sides of his head shaved while his long messy blonde hair hung down on his face, the outfit he was wearing looked like it was something someone would wear on a lazy day, unless this is what he considered style. His burgundy kind of loose supreme-sweats and black shoes that were untied. The two rings on his fingers and in his ears gave off a little luster from there silver color.

"Ah! The hell is going on?! Where… Where the hell am I? Uh." Soon the boys chest started to move. Taking in a sharpe breath as he tried to focus his eyes to what was around him. A pain spread across his body shooting down to his chest where he saw a knife.

"Ok what the fu*k is going on? I was just in a alleyway of shit?! Did one of those fu*ks come back and stab me? Again!?" The boy only becoming more confused as he was sure this blade was in his heart.

[Hello user.]

While trying to figure out what was going on his head began to ring. A metallic voice sounding out from with in breaking him out of his complaining. It grinded against his ears trying to pop them while his brain tried to comprehend what exactly was going on here.

"Alright, Not only was I stabbed to death. Now I'm hearing shit. Yay."

Putting his hand up to his chest he pulled the knife that for some reason wasn't as deep as he initially thought. Throwing it to the side while he shook his head.

[You are not crazy user. For the most part, you are actually adjusting quite well]

'Who the hell is talking! where are you?' Seeing people come around the building and stare at him. He thought to himself, even though he knew talking to voices that weren't there was crazy. He noticed he was no longer in that alleyway anymore so something had to be wrong here.

[I have no name but you may call me what you like. Congratulations you have been chosen by the #@$$$# to be brought back to life]

'Huh?'

Confused at what this text was that popped up in his mind as he closed his eyes. Watching the letters flash for a few moments before disappearing.

[You have been chosen to live again. It may take time for you to understand but you are in fact not dreaming, hallucinating, or fantasizing. So congratulations on your new life]

Looking at the text the boy thought he was a psychopath but seeing the area he was in was not the inner city. Looking down at his clothes, they were no where near what he had on before and then to the fact he knew he died. He couldn't help but to lean back while his mind tried to process this unbelievable miracle.

"I'm alive! I'm fu*king alive!"

Yelling out of happiness he ignored the people who whispered things as they looked at him. Right now he didn't care about any of that at the moment, he only knew that this was something straight out of fantasy. Even knowing this there was a question that bugged him.

'Um, metal lady voice? If I'm alive again why am I here? And who the hell am I?'
