I looked at Alexis in shock. I'd always known that she was bold but not bold enough to do this.
To be honest, as I heard her call me 'mine' I inwardly blushed ( Yes, I have no self respect again) but then voicing out the fact that we were mates.
Two omega's were eachother's mate was the worst thing she could do.
Karina or Karena whatever her name was scoffed "What? Mate?"she looked at me "Is that true?"
Just then our biology teacher walked in and I'd never been more grateful for a class to start.
"Alright everyone. Let's get seated" Mr Jones said.
Karena walked away and all eyes turned away from us.
Alexis took her seat and I whispered"Hey, what was that for?"
"Oh, so now you aren't interested in avoiding me. Thanks for letting me know "
"Is that important right now "
"Alexis and Aiden, class is about to start" Mr Jones called out to us "Now ,where did we end in our previous class"
The next 20 minutes flew by quicker than I'd expected and as the bell rang, I took Alexis hand and dragged her out of the class.
The rest of the class oohed as if we were putting on a show for them.
When we got to the rooftop of the school, I finally let go off her hand.
"Why did you do that?" I asked angrily.
"Why? Are you angry because I told everyone or are you ashamed of everyone knowing that two omega's are mate?"
I wrinkled my face in confusion"What are you talky about? You are the one who rejected me. I thought you would hate everyone knowing we are mate "
"Really? Is that really it? Haven't you seen how hard I've been trying to make us work? You've just been avoiding me!"
I froze. She was trying to make us work?
"Do you have any idea how I fe-"
I cut her off by pulling her close to me and kissed her.
She was stilled for a while but then she slowly opened up to me as I slid my tongue into her mouth.
For the past 14 years we've been best friends , I'd always loved Alexis and imagine if she'd ever feel the same way.
I'd always wanted to make her mine and kiss her.
And now , I could gladly do so .
I was going to mark my territory clearly.
Alexis wrapped her hands around as I pulled her closely.
This was sheer-
A can thrown at us breaking us apart.
I looked around and standing on the rooftop was Kenny, a beta .
"Get a room. We're in school"he said as he jumped down from the rooftop.
Alexis and I exchanged glances and laughed at eachother.
It finally felt like the tension between us was dissolved.
Alexis eyes widened.
"What happened?" I asked.
"I have Mr Evans class now. I'll be dead if I'm late again . Bye " she said rushing out .
I smiled as I watched her leave and headed down myself.

ALEXIS
Mr Evans takes physics class. I wasn't late again this time but I just couldn't pay any attention to what he said.
I told my lips as I smiled. Aiden had kissed me!
Omgggg. I'm screaming on the inside.
Or so I thought because I was actually squealing on the outside.
"Alexis, do you find something interesting?" Mr Evans asked.
I looked around as all eyes were on me and I looked back to Mr Evans .
What was I supposed to do now?I don't even know the topic.
"I was just telling her about how bohr did his model"Grey said beside me.
Omg, Grey was beside me ? How did I not notice him?
I always noticed him. What was happening to me ?
"Is that right, Alexis?" Mr Evans asked.
I nodded my head "Yes"
"Next time Mr Grey, do refrain from answering my questions when you weren't called" Mr Evans said to Grey"So moving on"
Mr Evans proceeded with his teaching as I let out a sigh of relief.
"You should pay more attention"Grey said to me.
I froze. This was the first time grey spoke to me .
"Thank you for helping me" I said.
"So you and Aiden are a thing now?"
I looked at him abruptly"How did you know?"
He smiled"The whole school is talking about it"
I cowered "Oh". I should have been more careful now Aiden and I are in the spotlight.
"Anyways, if you are truly thankful for how I helped you, why don't you repay me ?"
My heart throbbed."How?"
Grey smiled"Just look for me after school, okay?"
I slowly nodded my head.
Maybe if I got close to Grey, he can talk to Liam and they can stop bullying Aiden .
Maybe afterall, I didn't need to be the mate of an alpha or beta to hold power.
I was enjoying my life this way.
For the last period of today, Aiden and I had separate classes so after school, I went to meet Aiden but he was still having class.
I wanted to tell him that I was going somewhere with Grey Incase he was looking for me later
"Let's go" Grey said appearing beside me.
I looked at Aiden for a long while and when his gaze finally met mine, I smiled and waved.
He smiled back.
I signalled to him that I would be leaving and he nodded his head.
I smiled at Grey"let's go "
Grey and I left left school together.
"Where are we going?" I asked
"Just somewhere" Grey replied "Are you up for a run?"
I smiled. I'm always up for a run .
"You betcha. But where to?"
Grey smiled"You ask too much questions for someone who is supposed to be 'repaying' me"
"I mean, t-that's because-" I stuttered but then Grey transformed to his black wolf form and took off.
"Hey, that's cheating!" I shouted transforming to my grey wolf form and giving him a hot chase.
