Chapter 13 - Just Friend

"Why am I weird?" said the guy who tried to balance Lia's stride.

"If at home you change your appearance like that afternoon, don't you?" says Lia again unwittingly causing the guy next to her to furrowed his eyebrows.

Yet, Dirga just throws a thin smile on his face without intending to respond to Lia's words. The steps carried the two teenagers to the front of the laboratory. The preening of conversation makes both Dirga and Lia lose sight of the destination until Dirga lays out the step after realizing it.

"Why to stop?" asked Lia.

"You're going the wrong way. It should turn there," Dirga said as he pointed in the direction of the canteen.

"Oh, my god, how come?" she grumbled.

Lia then pulled up the right hand of Dirga, leading him through the eleven class's aisle on the second floor with fast-moving steps. Then down several steps, until they reached them on the ground floor, right between the business area and the parking lot, there the cafeteria was.

Arriving in front of the canteen, the building consisted of two rooms full of students who were starving or just hanging out and only buying cold drinks. Lia dealt her sight through looking for just one empty chair so she could sit as soon as possible. They haven't filled up with anything, which made her stomach crave food.

While Dirga looks so calm leaning against the wide-open door leaf, looking over at the students who are still standing in line to fill their stomachs.

"Lia, why do you come alone? Where is Abel going?" asked a girl on her way out of the canteen.

Inexpressibly, Lia replied, "Abel is not feeling well, hehe."

"Oh, I hope she gets well. I'll go first, Li," she said and passed.

"Ga, you haven't said anything since then," mumbled Lia as she nudges Dirga's arm with her elbow.

"Do I have to kick everyone out in the canteen, including the canteen mom so you can come in, sit on your favorite bench and let you get all the food on display?" he said with mocking eyes.

Lia immediately rounded her eyes and prepared to throw all the swearing at him for making her upset.

"Ehehe, joked," beat the glass guy with a chuckle, "come on in, before the break hour is over," he continued.

Then spread out his long legs, twisting in among the busy disciples. Lia took part, following Dirga's footsteps toward the refrigerator in the corner of the room.

He took two bottles of mineral water and gave one of them to Lia. Afterward, they headed for Mira, ordering two bowls of meatballs as soon as they had the chance to order.

Not long after standing in front of the fully stocked food stand, it was time for Lia and Dirga to order where Miss Mira the cafeteria director was ready to take notes.

"Miss, one meatball with yellow noodles only, don't put up celery and MSG," Lia said when it came to her turn to order.

"Okay, how about Dirga?" Mira turned to Dirga as soon as she finished recording Lia's meatball portion.

"I would also like to eat meatballs. Without MSG, instead put a lot of celery," Dirga answered with a friendly laugh, of course.

"Alright. Please wait a moment, okay," said the woman who had been hit on by the school guard so friendly, and left to get their orders ready.

During the waiting period for the meatball, once a time Lia glanced at Dirga as she twirled her drinking bottle. From the morning, a bunch of beautiful flowers have been blooming in her heart. Going to school with Dirga, given water, and ordering food together in the canteen was the happiest thing which I had ever dreamed of.

"Just if Dirga doesn't like Abel, I'll hit on him first."

Finally, Mira came back with two meatball bowls on the tray. She sets it on a long table next to the display case, and then allows Dirga and Lia to take it to the empty table.

Without lingering they each lifted their own bowl. Walk slowly to the corner of the canteen because there's an empty table over there. There were only seven minutes of break time,

Those who just had their meal can't help but eat it in a hurry. Lia had not even had time to prepare her meatballs with soy sauce and sauces and chili paste according to taste.

Also, Dirga left the soup barely.

"Ga, didn't you add soy sauce?" Lisa asked between her meals.

"I don't like it," Dirga said without turning his head.

"Why is he the same as Abel? Nor did she like to eat meatballs with seasonings," Lia's mind feels sad.

The boy stopped playing with the spoon and the fork when he had eaten his noodles and meatball. Meanwhile, Lia still enjoys a clear soup without celery and MSG in her bowl. Shortly thereafter, the bell as a sign of entrance class echoed throughout the school.

"I'll pay for it," Lia said, holding Dirga's hand as he was about to go to Mira's place.

"Ah, no, better we pay for ourselves," he said.

But Lia had already given Mira a fifty-thousand valued paper for two meatball bowls and two bottles of mineral water that had been consumed. Then the two of them returned to the classroom, although it seemed that there would be no class followed up.

Time kept ticking away until a black wristwatch turned eleven in the afternoon. Dirga let out a long sigh, his gaze pointing lazily to Lia who was chit-chatting around with her female friends.

He was so bored waited for a few minutes more before the school ended to come home, that he finally chose to go out of the classroom first even though there was no sign the school end yet.

"Eh, anyone seen Dirga?" Lia asked as soon as the end class bell rang.
