"Hey, my name is Shin Yume! I like watching anime and playing games. My favorite colors are green, blue, and purple! I am interested in anyone with the same hobbies and interests as me!" Damn... this is too positive for me! I need to rewrite my bio, but y'know what? I should go to bed. <I love going to bed... it is my favorite part of the day, because i don't have to deal with interacting with other people- hmm?> When I finally get to sleep, there has to be someone texting... me? I never get texts! I don't even talk to people, I just stay in my room all day! I'll read it tomorrow...
[Shin lies down in bed, and gets comfortable, and start dozing off, not a care in this world]
"From: [REDACTED] To: Daegu residents of South Korea
There has been a major Carbon monoxide leak detected in the Seo District area, and it is slowly spreading to the Dalseo and Jung districts. We have concluded that this level of Carbon monoxide causes people to have convulsions and nausea, and if you are in the Daegu region the carbon monoxide will cause you to go unconscious in a few breaths, and die in minutes. Please evacuate the area until we attempt contain this gas leak, or until it disperses enough for readings to go back to normal. We thank you for your time."
[5 hours later]
*Ring! Ring! Ring!* <is that my alarm? I can't move, my head is throbbing! I taste iron... what happened, and why does it feel so cold?> "Hey, there is a person out here in the snow! Hurry!" {The voice of a panicked woman in the distance trails off into the buildings over the frozen river in front of me. I feel like a thousand needles are stabbing into me, reaching my bones, and traveling closer to my heart. My hands feel like they are going to fall off, and I feel the frostbite quickly kick in. <As the woman comes back, a group is following her, but something is off- they have torches, and are wearing medieval-like clothing.> "Hey there, let us help you out of this snow, oh goodness! you have frostbite all over your hands! Quick! Let us bring him to the pub!" As they scurry back to the Pub, they occasionally exchange looks at each other, as if communicating something they don't want me to hear. As we get closer to our destination, I see the entire town bustling with life, as if the cold couldn't slow this community down. Once we enter the bar, a homely warmth starts enveloping me, and the cozy environment makes me sleepy. I want to stay here forever, but my curiosity of this unfamiliar land gives me a reason to leave in the morning. Soon, the noises died down, and everyone started heading home for the night. I was planning to lay on the floor, but the people who owned the bar are allowing me to sleep in the only guest room for the night.
