Chapter 9 - Lost a member

The room was dimly lit, with a large table at its center covered in meticulously arranged maps and blueprints. The walls displayed surveillance footage of the target location, providing a real-time view of its layout and security measures. The air was charged with excitement as Amir, Ophelia, and Marcus gathered around, ready to delve into the intricacies of their next audacious heist.....At the SBI bank of India

Ophelia, the mastermind behind the operation, led the discussion with a focused intensity. She pointed to various points on the blueprints, highlighting key entry and exit routes, security cameras, and guard rotations.

"We'll start with a diversion," Ophelia declared, her voice confident and unwavering. "Marcus, you'll utilize your expertise in technology to hack into their security systems and create a series of false alarms in different parts of the facility. That should draw most of the guards away from our main objective."

Marcus nodded, his fingers tapping swiftly on a laptop as he mentally mapped out the intricate network of surveillance and alarm systems.

Amir, his eyes gleaming with anticipation, interjected, "And what about our point of entry? How do we bypass their reinforced doors and access the target area?"

Ophelia smiled, her expression betraying a hint of mischief. "That's where you come in, Amir. Your agility and acrobatic skills will be put to the test. We've acquired specialized tools to aid in lock picking and bypassing electronic security systems. Your job will be to navigate the treacherous maze of hallways and corridors, avoiding detection as you make your way to the heart of the facility."

Amir's confidence soared as he imagined the thrill of overcoming each obstacle, his body moving with a grace honed through years of training.

As the plan unfolded, Ophelia detailed the specific tasks assigned to each team member, leaving no room for error. She emphasized the importance of coordination, timing, and adaptability, aware that any deviation from the plan could jeopardize their success.

"Remember," Ophelia's voice resonated with authority, "we must work swiftly and silently. Our objective is to retrieve the valuable artifact while leaving minimal evidence of our presence. Any alarms triggered or guards incapacitated should be handled with precision and efficiency."

With the heist plan firmly established, the trio set out to procure the necessary equipment and fine-tune their individual skills. They spent countless hours practicing their respective roles, simulating different scenarios, and anticipating potential obstacles.

Finally, the day of the heist arrived. Under the cover of darkness, they approached the target location with calculated determination. The air was thick with anticipation as they executed each step flawlessly, relying on their expertise, synchronization, and unwavering trust in one another.

Amir moved like a shadow, effortlessly bypassing security measures, disabling cameras, and neutralizing guards with swift and precise strikes. Marcus's fingers danced across his keyboard, manipulating the facility's systems to create chaos and confusion. Meanwhile, Ophelia coordinated their movements from a central command post, monitoring their progress and adjusting the plan as needed.

With each passing moment, the tension mounted. The team remained focused, their senses heightened, as they advanced deeper into the heart of the facility. The target artifact was within their grasp, and nothing would deter them.

As they finally laid their hands on the coveted prize, a rush of triumph surged through their veins. Their teamwork had paid off, and the adrenaline coursing through their bodies mingled with a sense of accomplishment.

The trio regrouped at their designated rendezvous point, making their escape with the same precision and stealth they had displayed throughout the operation. Their hearts raced as they slipped away, leaving behind

As the heist progressed, Marcus found himself cornered by the security forces. Despite his efforts to fight back, he was ultimately overpowered and captured. Ophelia, standing nearby, showed no signs of remorse as she observed the situation unfold. Her expression remained cold and detached.

Amir, witnessing Marcus's capture, glanced at him briefly before swiftly turning his attention back to Ophelia. Understanding the urgency of the situation, he knew they had to escape before the authorities closed in. Without a word, he grabbed Ophelia's arm and led her through the maze-like corridors of the building.

Their escape was calculated and precise. They avoided patrolling guards, utilized hidden passages, and blended seamlessly with the bustling crowd. Amir's quick thinking and familiarity with the surroundings allowed them to navigate the complex with ease. Ophelia, undeterred by Marcus's fate, remained focused on their getaway.

Outside the building, they found a waiting vehicle, ready to whisk them away to safety. Amir, still reeling from the events, glanced back briefly, wondering if Marcus would be able to escape or if he would face severe consequences. But Ophelia's indifference reminded him that sentimentality had no place in their world.

As they sped away from the scene, the weight of their actions settled upon them. The heist had taken an unexpected turn, resulting in Marcus's capture. Ophelia's lack of remorse lingered in the air, a testament to her unwavering determination and commitment to their cause. Amir couldn't help but wonder what would come next, knowing that their path was now irrevocably altered.

"You know you could've died back there.....Why are you gazing at him....With a cold tone " Amir asked

"We should've killed him.....Or I should have taken the breifcase in his hand ....You know....Who knows he might reveal our identites to police....In that moment I hesistated to kill him.....I blame myself for my incompetence " Ophelia cursed at herself

"But you didn't ....It states your humane nature....But naturally as you stated we should've killed him....But Marcus is our ally....I don't think he of all people would sell you out " Amir stated

"Why....Is it because he fancies me " Ophelia said

"It is as you said.....Marcus has crush on you....He will do everything to protect you from danger " Amir stated

"I seriously doubt it....Okay let's go....We have lost money....But we don't have to pay marcus's cut.....I need to find a better informant than that buffoon " Ophelia stated

"As expected you are harsh as always.....Come on let's go to hideout " Amir stated
