Lin Yushan waited until her father had finished venting before she spoke up.
Her voice was not loud, but it was very firm.
"Dad, I know all the things you've said, but I trust my own eyes more. I know what kind of person Jiannan is and what kind of family the Yue family is. The path I choose is my own, and you and mom are the people in the world who love me the most. I hope you can support me."
Seeing her father about to speak, Lin Yushan continued, "As for those things that happened to Jiannan in the past, I understand them too. But who hasn't misjudged people before? Because of this, I don't think he's the sort of person who doesn't cherish what he's got."
Lin Pengyi snorted coldly, "You've said it all anyway, so what more is there for me to say? I've raised you for so long, and all you know is to be contrary!"
Though he said this, his tone had softened somewhat.
Lin Yushan moved closer and leaned her head on her father's shoulder with a coquettish manner.
