The Elf Clan of the Heavenly Heart Jungle was merely penned up by the Campbell Sect like pigs and left to roam within the jungle.
Logically, the Elf Clan should ascend to the Demon Domain after their Ascension; however, for reasons unknown to Heavenly Dao, all the plant elves who ascended from the Elf Plane ended up in the Immortal Realm and were all guided by the Campbell Sect.
This afforded the Campbell Sect an exceptionally advantageous condition, which was reflected in their reputation for their Alchemy, including among the Upper Realm branches of the sect.
The members of the Elf Clan also supplied elixirs to the Upper Realm; whenever the Upper Realm was in need, the elves could be sent up at any time.
Of course, elf beauties warming beds was an indispensable part, and during rejuvenation, it was possible to absorb the essence of heaven and earth; the Elf Clan could even help others regenerate lost limbs and such.
