After Ember Vance got out of the car, she strode angrily straight towards Yusuf Zuck. Ruth Wilcox, still in the car, immediately recognized the girl as that young and beautiful policewoman.
Yusuf Zuck was not afraid of her. He unbuckled his seatbelt and said, "You don't need to get out; I'll go talk to her." With that, he got out of the car as well.
"What are you doing!" Ember Vance exclaimed urgently. "Why were you yelling at me on the phone?" She was furious and now seeing this little bastard again, she felt a mix of hatred and headache.
Call him a bad guy? He was actually quite nasty and lecherous, but within his badness, there was goodness. He had said he would grope her, but then he didn't, so Ember Vance had an indescribable feeling towards Yusuf Zuck, feeling that he wasn't that bad after all.
Today, Ember Vance wasn't wearing a police uniform but an Adidas tracksuit, clearly having gone for exercise early in the morning.
