Those who pass on resenting the world eventually taint those still living with unprecedented malice.
It was a legacy left behind by the forefathers…
Humans written and retained knowledge through documentation, while wisdom was passed orally.
There was a thousand ways a human could pass down their wisdom, but that also came at a risk.
With knowledge, came the absence of innocence.
Teens and young children browsed through the internet instead of talking to their elders. They believed that knowledge could substitute for wisdom, and that more of the former was wiser.
None knew that their actions were influenced…
That behind the scenes: Spiritual Creatures were always at war. They possessed, and influenced.
This was the status quo of the 'Jinn'.
Spirits born from the lingering thoughts and emotions of humanity. Split from the Underworld.
They were a type of demons and angels.
Thus termed as 'Yao' (Monsters) to the Chinese.
In fact, China even had a deeper pit of these intermingling Jinn and Yao… due to their lack of exorcists. With the Lazrik Clan protecting Britain from the unseen invasion, the 'pit' became deeper.
Eventuality turning into a type of abyss…
Monsters neither inherently evil nor good wandered that darkness, and they became even stronger once the gate to the Netherworld opened up. Even materialising in the world as a REAL pit!
With Mo (Demons) and their Div counterparts of Islamic origins colluding to create their paradise.
To bring the 'Hell Realm' to the Earthland Domain!
Within a certain area deep within the pit located in China, a Div that had escaped from Muslim exorcists hundred of years ago still lived to this very day. The ancient demon sensed a 'spark'.
"Someone is comprehending the Ars Notoria. An exorcist beyond imagination is about to be born."
The horn toothed mouth of the Arabian giant with blue skin looked down on his many subordinates.
Even though each of them were ogres larger than the average man, the 'king' towered over them.
His deep blue skin a symbol of his majestic status.
The words he'd spoken rang like bells to them.
Purifying bells with soothing sounds…
…which were considered horrifying to 'Demons'!!!
"H-how?!" One of the human-like Divs beneath the king couldn't help wiping the sweat on his face.
None of them could believe the Ars Notoria had been found. The legendary book of 'Magicians'.
Of course, the Div Raja understood their grief.
He was the rare survivor of the era where the Ars Notoria was a basic technique along exorcists.
A technique his kind had cunningly cut off through centuries of destroying knowledge and wisdom.
In the last war between the spiritual creatures of the abyss and exorcists, his focus on killing every single Warlock or Magician in sight and burying the Ars Notoria… lead to success in the present day.
He'd risen above the evil Yao known as 'Mo' and wicked Jinns he himself was part of: The 'Divs'.
Eventually becoming a Raja (King) among them.
However, what he sensed today could change everything. It was the appearance of a chosen one.
If a human managed to comprehend the Ars Notoria once more, then they'd be hunted again.
On top of that, he also sensed that there was a technique ancient even by his own standards near the Ars Notoria. The Ars Almadel was a legendary study he'd heard about… It could summon 'Perri'!
If a human managed to comprehend this technique on top of becoming an authentic 'Magician', then…
"Our kind must act before the child of humanity manages to make contact with those senseless bitches. We must act now! Demons of the hundred nights, will you stand idly?!" The Div Raja roared.
His voices resonated with the countless men of spiritual plane he inhabited, filled with lively plants.
The voice from his mouth tortured the souls of each strand of grass. Those they'd all stood on.
It was a scene fit for the lands of this abyss.
The roars and cheers of the army of Div filled the Raja with pride, but he silenced them after thinking.
A hand raised to quell the crowd into silence…
"Unfortunately, the state of comprehension cannot be interrupted by demons like us. Allah is watching us whenever a Human prays. The radiance of the almighty one will purify you, my most loyal army."
The Div Raja's words caused unrest among the demons. They grew weary of the impending war.
Insanity that could drive them to act recklessly.
"We must kill him now!"
"For our fellow brothers, that child must die!"
"Kill him! KILL HIM!"
"The child mustn't live!"
Their intent to kill the boy named 'Fritz Lazrik' went through the roof. Even materialising as a storm.
Even without knowing of the 'Ars Almadel', their reaction was like this. What'd happen if they knew?
This possibility wasn't entertained by the Raja.
He wouldn't let all he'd built fall so meaninglessly.
"Calm down, my brethren. I shall choose five of my most elite to take care of this matter. No longer shall we see a day where we are enslaved by Magicians and Warlocks. Those foolish 'Sorcerers' are unworthy!" He spoke, then held up a ring.
One made of the most purest form of iron.
The murky feet texture brought great fear to them instinctively, causing the Divs to take a step back.
The simultaneous sounds rumbled the planes…
Snake-like hissing left each of their mouths.
Those who remembered their days of slavery to the magicians of humanity gently sobbed among them.
Iron rings was the symbols of nightmares to them.
Who could forget the days when 'Black Magicians' derived their strength by syphoning it from a Div?
When their body was used as a catalyst for Spells.
Becoming the ink for 'Cursed Glyphs'…
"Hu~" One of the Arabian demons shivered, then shook off the horrific dread from his blue body…
It was way better than holding in that feeling.
Then the blue ogre started to blink…
After he regained his focus, he realised that their ruler had already left. His great shadow was gone.
And so were some of the elites among them.
The only thing left behind was the broken remnants of the iron ring. A symbol of their liberation!
None of them prayed that their king would succeed. In fact, they opted to curse instead.
An entire spiritual plane of Divs cursed that Fritz Lazrik would fail to comprehend the Ars Notoria.
Their wills combined into a stream of resentment.
One that suddenly engulfed the youth regardless of the distance between China and Great Britain.
The Earthland Domain, which was formerly known as the United Kingdoms, was suddenly invaded.
That unseen force of the past reared its ugly head.
However, the youth himself couldn't do anything about this. Right now, he was in a deep trance.
His body pointing in the direction of Mecca on top of a prayer mat. His body covered by a still glow.
However, that thin 'barrier' made of holy radiance didn't stop the resentment from flooding his room.
The red wine of resentment became a misty domain that devoured the territory of the room.
It split off reality and casted it into the spiritual plane. The resentment lingering was too thick…!
An illusionary domain was formed within the room.
All in accordance to the plan of the Div Raja.
Unknowingly, Fritz's soul was transported into the illusionary domain along with his material body.
The lines between real and unreal were blurred…
His room transformed into a grassy landscape with a blue sky. Then, the titan of a Div descended.
The demon king's shadow was like one made by a mountain. Towering over the eggshell underneath.
However, his demonic energy was nothing in front of the almighty force that created that thin barrier.
It made the creature learn that he needed cunning.
Recklessly touching the barrier would only lead to the death of his concept, the evil within his heart.
Cleansing him until he became nothingness…
His eyes looked at the elites gathered under him.
One of them wielded a cage on a chain to catch a Perri, while another held an large curved blade.
It was oversized to the point of looking like a 'Dao' Broadsword that was seen among Yao in China.
The remaining two were barehanded.
This force was enough to protect him. After all, he was about to use wicked yet delicate Witchcraft.
This was only possible thanks to his origins.
This Jinn wasn't merely a 'Div'.
The Div Raja was a 'Jann'!
The father of the Blue Ogres and Jinns of his nature. He'd even lived before Adam's time.
Even before the almighty one made mankind, he had existed in this world as the original 'Blue Ogre'.
His descendants formed by residual resentment of the dead even crossing borders to other countries.
He existed before the creation of Garden of Eden…
In the long years the Div Raja had existed, he'd stored immense power. Enough to start to 'rebel'.
The spiritual creature knew his machinations were crystal clear under the omniscient eyes of the almighty. That's why the demon had no choice but to play 'fair'. He wouldn't disrupt Fritz's prayers.
Instead, he focused on the cruelty of all 'Gods'.
"Every human under Your eyes is protected by Your benevolence… Inshallah. However, I have seen the bitterness of holy beings. The hypocrisy that ties many of Your kin. You are not truly Allah-taala.
Of course, You are also not a 'fake'.
Just like how the 'God' of Christianity also gained a heavenly body. Just like Zeus, Rama, and Odin.
The Third Generation Greatest Light is what gave your imaginary presence 'weight'." He exclaimed towards the thin barrier. The Div Raja denounced the existence of the almighty power he witnessed.
He was able to understand it because he too was a creation of 'imagination'. Not a true historical Jann.
That was the nature of his species…
The Raja's existence was a miracle made by humanity. A culmination of thoughts and feelings.
His spirit wasn't born from the hands of the true Islamic God, but the fears mankind had of Jann.
Because they believed Jann existed before the time of Eden, he too gained memories of existing back then. Even if reality was to say Eden wasn't real, the Div Raja wouldn't be affected by logic.
He was born from illusions, after all.
A similar thing could be said for the being protecting Fritz. That wasn't the true almighty one.
However, the almighty creator above all beings he witnessed was still born from the faith of Islam.
That faith affected reality through the 'Holy Power' created by one who'd become this world's legend.
If the lingering resentment gave the Div Raja authority in the illusionary domain, then the faith from Fritz's heart gave authority to the almighty one he prayed to. This cleared up one thing.
That the 'God' before him must act on the faith and religious morals that had been dedicated to him.
The thoughts of the one who prayed mattered.
Thus, the target for his attacks was simple.
The Div Raja's giant blue hand hovered above the lone 'child' trying to comprehend the Ars Nova.
This wasn't in an attempt to cause any harm.
Still, the Div Raja poured immense power straight from his soul's life energy to affect Fritz's mind.
He chanted with a serious tone: "Nuba Yamas!"
The evil spell was empowered by the domain of illusions. Even the bright sky above turned dark.
And darkness empowered the Blue Ogre.
Night was the domain of the Ogre Divs!
The illusionary power of the domain subtly applied to the concepts within its reaches than the physics.
Thus, the Div Raja was able to influence Fritz.
The demonic king's wicked eyes were exhilarated.
It was true that 'harm' couldn't go through the barrier of Fritz's faith, but what if it wasn't 'harm'?
In fact, the curse he was inflicting didn't even show clear signs of corrupting the person in the barrier.
The target for 'Nuba Yamas' was in fact…
…'Morality'!
He influenced the youth's concept of morals.
Thus, directly infecting the faith Fritz needed to have the protection of the Islamic God by his side.
He harnessed doubts already within the kid's heart.
This was a natural weakness that had been slowly developed after the death of the child's loved ones.
After the massacre of the Lazrik Clan, the faith in the heart of the only survivor had started to wane.
The guilt from surviving even becoming a curse…
By amplifying those feelings, the Div Raja could effectively break the connection of the prayers.
Once that actually happened, it'd be time to feast.
The mouths of the Elite Divs watered as they watched this unfold. A desert was being prepared.
Fritz Lazrik would become their delicacy…!
They smiled, revealing their tusk-like teeth.
All they needed to do was wait patiently. Their king brought the child to their level ever so slowly.
This tension only brought them sincere delight.
The Div Raja drool started to cover the barrier. The thin layer of light was slowly being etched away.
It was working effectively! The already drained vessel for the almighty one's power was fading!
However, one slight cause interrupted them:
"Ummm… Am I interrupting something?" Anya asked while looking around her in confusion.
She was sure she was in Fritz's room a moment ago. Why was her feet outside all of a sudden?
On top of a very realistic feeling grass…
The demons turned towards her. Their eyes glowing red with human resentment and malice.
It looked like SHE DID interrupt them…
