"A third-year high school student with the initials 'M' was found dead lifeless this morning on the roof of the school in killer condition. According to the possession of the school security guard, as the person who first found the 'M' student, the school uniform she was wearing was misshapred because it had been torn here and there. A school shirt that should have been pure white turned into a deep red because of the blood pouring from its nearly severed throat…."
A lengthy line from a pretty newsreader with a should-length haircut on a private television station suddenly fell off the radar as a bespectacled handsome man came out of one of the rooms, and closed the door with a voice that sounded so loudly that it could turn attention in his direction.
The pair of sharp eyes behind the lens stared at a young girl sitting on the edge of the table not far from his current position. "The commander is looking for you!" Said the man with the glasses and the trim with the snout on the pretty girl who looked very serious about watching the news on television. The young man then seated himself at the side of the desk of the girl who was looking at him with her eyes growling angrily, but he just glanced at her no matter what.
After a sullen grunt feeling that she had just been harassed, the girl, Ami stood gazing at the man with her arms propped up at each side of her waist. The girl looked at the handsome man with the black-handle glasses, but was rewarded only with an raised eyebrow.
"You're an asshole," she mutter with a weak voice. After intentionally hitting Ryu's leg, the bespectacled man next to her, Ami then moved with a stirring move toward the room where Ryu had just come out before the man called her. The girl kept walking away from Ryu, who was just sitting at the table with an empty mind as he tapped his fingertips on the surface.
On the other hand, Ryu only looked at Ami's small back for a few moments before rising up and walking into his own room.
After knocking three times, Ami courageously pushed the little door of the room before her and pushed her head through the crack she had just opened a little. She gave him a smile as sweetly as she could from her boss, who looked down at her from behind his desk.
As she continued to scratch her back, which was not really itchy at all, Ami opened the door and quickly entered the room. The girl then pulled up a chair for herself and sat without waiting welcome first by the owner of the room who just looked at her expressively.
"Ohayou, Akimura-san!" Ami grinned too wide, not caring for her better-in-breath supervisor. Then she ran her little fingers along the engraving of her superior's name on a glass plate on the table. She raised her head slowly at the sound of the man's gentle thump in front of him.
(Ohayou: good morning in Japan
San : a salute to an older person, can mean "Sir")
After turning his laptop to face Ami, Commander Akimura said firmly. "You have seen the news, haven't you? What do you think about that thing?" He pointed to the message Ami had earlier watched in the office waiting room. The man then wiped his hairless head almost halfway before he returned to say to Ami who was looking at him with a plain made face. "What the hell, the gist - This case will be your job and I will not tolerate any kind of rebuttal. Go out and find yourself a partner, i don't care who, i only want you to solve this problem." Commander Akimura looked glaring rapidly at the unsightly movement of Ami's protest, who was now skinning him with strong vision. The old man then pretended to be busy flipping through the blank papers on the table.
Seeing Commander Akimura refocused to on his work and not seeing Ami as herself is a real person and just a thin air, Ami only clubbed her tongue and then went and closed the door with the loud sound. She even had time to kick the flower pot on the side of the door before she stepped out of the room.
The girl who first walked with her head down the lobby suddenly pulled the corners of her lips to form a happy smile when she saw someone who could help her at the moment standing leaning against the entrance of the office building, looking as if he was talking to someone using a sophisticated phone with her favorite black cartoon case. Ami was seen allowing him, Ryu to settle his conversation with the person across the line. The girl simply walked to the side of Ryu and then squatted down playing the shoelace used by Ryu who just glanced at her lazyly before returning to focus on the conversation.
Almost eight minutes later, Ryu finally severed the telephone line and put his cell phone in the pocket of the pants he had worn. The man then looked down at Ami, who looked up with a big smile in his direction.
"Ryu-kun! You want to be my partner, right? I want you to help me this time."
(Kun: greetings to young men)
Ryu shook Ami's hand who yanked at him with a desperate smile for help. "Depending on what you would give me in return," said Ryu now with a sidelong smile when he saw the look on the face of the little girl who was still squatting nearby," don't think too much, I'll tell you my will when the job is done."
A colleague of theirs who happened to be passing by was suddenly amused to see the two young people in strange positions. "Don't spoil that little girl too much, Ryu," he said with a teasing tone.
"She's just using you, ryu. Be careful, "connect another man in the vicinity, using a tone and an enticing expression.
