"FUCK!" The person who played Icarus angrily threw the helmet to the floor.
"I NEED TO BUY A FUCKING NOTHER ONE!" Icarus bellowed in rage.

The VR Helmet he was using was a Gold Rank one.
"ECHO!! I WILL SKIN YOU LIKE A PIG!" Icarus yelled and left his house to buy another Helmet.

While this happened Echo known as Drake was clueless about how harsh the death penalty was for levels below Level 6.
Drake watched the rest of the party continue looking for him unaware of their little thief of a leader was dead. He saw four of them were still left, as his eyes turned light purple in excitement.
He picked another arrow from his quiver and knocked it on his bow and aimed it towards another player a couple of meters away.
- Swish!
The arrow flew and pierced the player through the heart.

'Two more two go...' He looked for the last pair only to see them arguing.
Drake watched them argue for a few seconds before he decided to end it, he plucked another arrow from his quiver and aimed it towards the one on the right.

The arrow flew through the air like a target-seeking missile and impaled the player right through the neck sticking him to the tree.

Drake stood still for a few moments as he messaged his upper Body as he felt his shoulders and arms starching to ache, after messaging Drake descended the tree as he ignored the aching pain coming from his shoulders and the notifications and landed on the ground safely and quietly.
He simply strode to where Icarus's items were at.

Drake put the items in his inventory and ran out of the forest.
10 minutes later he returned to the village, his upper body returned to normal, and entered the village as he went straight towards the same merchant store.
"Sell." Drake said as he entered the shop, as he walked towards the desk and dumped all the items he received from Icarus.
"30 Ember Coins." Huxley said with a bored face.
"Deal." he took the coins and left the building.
"30 Ember Coins, I can't get anything with that." Drake mumbled as he looked for a weapon store.
It didn't take long as it was the most crowded building in the village.
He saw many players leaving with defeated faces after seeing the prices of the items.
Drake entered the building and saw multiple weapons on display.
He soon found a bow.

He sighed and continued looking and found out he couldn't even afford the cheapest item which was an iron dagger; which was 80 Ember Coins.
Drake left the store just like everyone else, with a defeated face.
'So poor, is this what it feels like?' Drake thought to himself.
Drake left the store and slowly started approaching the village entrance.
As he reached the exit he found a very strange sighting.
Live-Streamers.
They had cameras flying above their heads and looked like they were talking to themselves.
It was a rare sight to so many people live-streaming at once.
He wondered how people did it, so he opened the interface and clicked [Help]

Drake closed the interface as he continued to watch the streamers with amusement.
After watching for a few seconds he left the village and went in a different direction from the forest.
He continued walking for a few moments watching multiple players hunting and fighting. After walking for about an hour he came across a cliff where a lone man stood overlooking it.

Drake was curious but still cautious.
Joker watched the young man walking towards him.
"Beautiful isn't it?"
"Yeah..." Drake nodded in approval as he enjoyed the view.
"You should turn around young man." joker said still looking at the view.
"Why?" Drake asked as from what he could tell there was nothing dangerous.
"Just trying to help..." Joker said and continued, "You have to climb down this cliff to continue, and you won't live long, trust me."

Without hesitation, he clicked [No]
"Thank you young men for trusting me." Joker said but his tone turned into boundless sadness.
"How bout a quest young man?" his tone returned to normal
"Quest?" Drake narrowed his eyes as he thought something wasn't right.
Joker nodded but even if he was staring away from him he could notice a slight smile creeping onto Joker's face, "Yes a quest that will earn you fame and power!"

"Sinister bastard....' Drake thought as he watched joker trying to fight off a frighting smile.
He pressed [No]
Silence permitted the air but a peal of sinister laughter started echoing through the woods.
"HEHEHEHEHEHE~" A wicked laughter started coming out of Joker before he stood up and faced Drake showing his hideous face which contained a very sinister smile, that would make anyone go numb.
"HEHEHE~... You little shit~ How'd you knowwww~... Wellll~ It doesn't matter either way... HAHAHA~" Joker started walking towards Drake as he unsheathed his dagger and pointed it towards his neck.
"HEHEHEHE~ DIE!" He released a burst of sinister laughter as he swung his dagger towards Drake's neck, and with insane speed, the blade was centimeters from his neck.
Drake watched this with calm eyes as his eyes were still light blue showing no sadness or despair. He felt the blade touch his skin but that's all he felt as the blade didn't go any further or more accurately couldn't go through his neck.
"HEHEHE~ WHY CAN'T I KILL YOU! HEHEHE~" Joker roared but he still released some sinister waves of laughter. Drake saw the blade on his neck but noticed there was some kind of barrier protecting him.
Drake took a few steps back as he made eye contact with the Joker who still had a disturbing smile etched on his face.
Joker tried stepping forward but found out he couldn't as he was stuck and couldn't move from his spot for some reason.
"Come back~ HEHEHE... No reason to be afraid~"
Drake just snickered as he turned around and started running away.
Leaving the sinister laughter of Joker behind.
After 10 minutes Drake stopped as he let out a deep breath, "Whew~"
He sat on the ground as he laid his back against the tree, "Damn bastard, you think [Fate] Quest are so easy to earn.."
After catching his breath he opened his interface to check the time.

Drake instantly put all 20 stat points as he did earlier with no hesitation, leaving his stats like...
