Eyes locked onto Annalise from all sides. There was curiosity but not much shock. Annalise was born into a military family and wasn't raised in the capital.
She spent the first half of her life on the border with her father and brother—a heroic woman.
Although she wore a dress like the other famous beauties, it was not complicatedly designed but simple and elegant, making it easier for her to make sudden movements.
Prince Edward crossed his arms and leaned back,
"Since you spoke up. Then I can't back down now, can I?"
"However, it's no fun if there are no stakes."
Annalise nodded her head calmly, "What do you propose?"
Prince Edward pondered momentarily, then said, "How about this? Instead of shooting arrows blindly at wooden stakes, " he smirked softly, "We bring in live targets."
His raised eyebrows seemed to ask the question, Do you dare?
She, in fact, did dare.
