Chapter 9 - School #2

I listened as the bell in the school rang across the hallway.

"Alright students, we'll continue our discussion tomorrow, dismissed." the teacher in front of our class said as he picked up his belongings on the table and made his way outside of our classroom.

All of the students in turn began to scram our way out of the classroom.

I sighed at this as I stood up from my chair and turned towards the duo besides me.

"Let's go before someone takes our table in the cafeteria." I pat Sarah on the head whilst looking at Christian.

"We can't" Christian shook his head.

What the hell are you talking about?

"Yes, we can't go there." Turning towards at Sarah, I can see her lowering her head.

Just what is going on?

"And why is that?" I tilt my head at them in confusion.

They stayed silent, their eyes still glued to the floor.

I tried to think as to what reason why my friends are like this.

When suddenly, a thought came to my mind.

Oh... that bastard again.

"Is it Jamie and his friends?" I asked.

They two looked at each other before nodding their head.

I f*cking knew it, those as*holes are at it again!

It seems killing Jamie's sister still wasn't enough to teach him a lesson.

"I see"

"Yeah" Christian slowly raise his head from the ground.

Staring at him for a moment, I immediately grabbed the empty table from my side, lifted it, before throwing it in front of me.

It made a loud crashing sound as it hits the nearby table, surprising and shocking the people inside the classroom.

"A-Albert?!" Sarah stood up from her chair.

"What the hell was that for, Albert?!" Christian gave me a scowl as he also stood up.

Turning towards my two friends, I smiled at them.

"What did Jamie do?" I asked.

They stayed quiet for a moment, before Christian finally spoke.

"H-He..." he stuttered.

This guy... he's even scared to talk to his own friend, have you already lost that much faith in me, huh?

"He what?!" I was finally staring to lose my patience.

"It happened an hour ago" I turned to Sarah who suddenly spoke.

"Please continue." I placed both of my hands on my waist.

"When we failed to pay the money required for his 'protection', he-" Christian suddenly cuts her off.

"Jamie h-humiliated Sarah by threatening to hurt and touch her in the public, he even started started spreading fake rumors about Sarah being a...." he paused.

"A f*cking what?!" I yelled, surprising both of them.

"A-Albert, what's with you-" Christian cuts Sarah off.

"About her being a sl*t." Turning towards Christian, I saw him drop his head a little bit.

Sighing, I slumped down on my chair below.

"Did everyone took it?" I asked, turning towards both of them.

"Everyone's starting to believe." Sarah said, tears staring to form in her eyes.

Just what the hell did they do to deserve that?

Raising my palms, I placed it on my face.

What are we going to do about it?

I don't know...

Once a fire spreads to the forest, it can't just be put out easily.

Ughh... I can feel the oncoming headache.

"I'm sorry, It's all my fault, If I had more money on me right now, we probably would've avoided everything." Christian said, his eyes glued to the floor again.

"Sorry?" They both turned to look at me as I stood up from my chair.

Rage begins to boil inside of me.

"YOU DON'T DESERVE TO SAY THAT!" I immediately punched Christian right on his nose, making everyone gasped.

"Albert, please stop!" Sarah is already crying, whilst a small crowd is starting to form around us.

"What kind of f*cking reasoning is that?!" I yelled as I kneed him to the stomach.

"Ugufh!" he dropped on his knees.

I then grabbed his hair and raised his bloodied face to face me.

"You could've stood up to Jamie and tell everyone he's lying, but you didn't, not even the slightest resistance!" I yelled.

"I DON'T HAVE A CHOICE!" he cried out.

"Because you're a coward who's only good at saying sorry!" I screamed in his face.

"Albert, stay away from him!" Sarah suddenly shoved me away and began tending to Christian.

Looking around me, I can already see a large crowd surrounding us.

"Oh my god"

"Are you seeing this?"

"Christian and Albert fighting, really?"

I clicked my tongue as I listened at the comments of the people around.

Shit, why did I f*cking do that.

Making my way towards Sarah, I placed a hand on her shoulder.

"Sarah, I'm sorr-" she cuts me off suddenly.

"Don't touch me!" she pushed my hand away.

Sarah... I was...

F*ck it!

I smacked my head a few times before walking off from the scene.

I can't believe I vented out my anger towards them.

I'm such an idiot.

As I make my way outside the classroom, I can still feel the gaze of the people around me.

Stopping in my tracks, I immediately lifted a nearby chair and threw it towards a group of students that were eyeing my with mockery, luckily they managed to dodge the incoming chair as it crashed unto the wall, shocking everyone around me again.

"Fuck off!" I gave them all the 'sign' before I stepped outside the classroom.

Ugh, my headache is going to kill me!

I began clutching my head as I walked down the busy hallway towards the cafeteria.

After a few minutes of walking, I finally arrived at my destination.

It is so much crowded that every people I can see look like ants if I zoomed it all out.

But that was until I spot Jamie and his friends eating and talking on some table.

F*cking punks.

My anger is so immeasurable it's going to erupt and caught the school in a fiery of explosions in any second.

Hell, I didn't even notice myself striding towards them.

Bringing my hoodie down, I continue walking towards them.

It was only then when I am a few meters away from them when one of them noticed me.

"Ey, isn't that Albert?" he pointed at me.

Before everyone could turn their heads at me, I grabbed a tray full of food from a person eating on his table and immediately threw it at the exposed back of Robert.

Robert grunted in pain as he clutched his back and fell to the ground.

Take that you shit head!

Panting, I can see everyone on the cafeteria has their eyes on me, their faces full of shock and disbelief.

Even Jamie who stared at me with wide eyes.

Peter and Jamie immediately got up from their seats and came to help Robert up.

"You don't know what you're doing." Jamie flashed me an angry glare as he carried Robert on his shoulders.

"You're dead, as*hole!" Peter pointed at me.

I gulped at their words as I stared at them, still maintaining my brave appearance.

F*cking shit! what the hell are you doing, Albert!

I can already feel my balls shaking in fear.

At that, I suddenly saw the rest of their friends making their way towards me as Jamie and Peter moved Robert to the infirmary.

"You're going to pay for that." one of them, the tallest, said as he looms over me.

Shit, this guy's huge!

As they walked towards me, I suddenly found myself frozen in place.

What the heck, I can't move!

I tried moving my feet, but I just can't do it!

It feels like my feet is stuck on ice.

My face paled as I stared at the group of people now only a meter away from my body.

I'm dead...

The tall one pulled his arms back, ready to throw a punch, but before it could collide on my face, another tray full of food suddenly slammed on the head of the guy, knocking him out cold.

I watched his body fall to the ground, not moving.

Huh?

Just what the f*ck happened?

Staring at the group before me, they all had confused expressions on their faces.

"What the hell?" one of them said as he stared at something behind me.

Turning around, I can see a student, his hands shaking.

"I'm done with you f*ckers!" the student then gave the group in front of me the 'sign'.

He threw it?!

Then, another student rushed on the group, slamming his body towards the shortest among them, I watched as they roll on the ground, clawing at each other like hawks.

At this, I finally managed to move my feet and instinctively took a step back.

Again, another student came in, throwing his tray of food towards the group of bullies.

"F*cking hell!" one of them grabbed a nearby stool and threw it towards the student responsible for throwing the tray of food at them.

Luckily the student managed to dodge it and immediately he jumped towards the group of bullies before me like a bomb, without any regards of safety for himself.

And slowly by slowly, more students joined in until everything escalated into a brawl.

With my fury and rage back, I jumped in.
