A loud groan could be heard as he clutched his chest in pain. Coughing out blood he tried to gasp for air.
'The minute I knew he was still alive, he cursed me?!' He thought with regret.
His hands were trembling and his voice diminishing as he struggled to his feet. He needed to quickly get to his shelf to access his secret passageway.
Forcing his way forward, he leaned on the bookshelf and pulled on one of the books on it.
Click!
Then came rubble as it opened up a way for him to go down the stairs.

He let out a breath of air as he got to the last stair, his vision was already starting to blur and he couldn't help but let out a curse in response.
He crossed through the arched opening and searched the area.
