Ignoring the looks Daniel moved back to Abigail and leant down and loudly whispered to her, wanting her adoptive parents to hear "My apologies Abigail, but I may have to leave at short notice."
Taking the hint Abigail smiled gently and said, "What is it?"
"Just one of my stupid uncles. He begged me to head up a international collaboration for Wu Enterprises. I resisted for a period as the last time I trusted him to handle a significant collaboration on his own three years ago he screwed up and it took six weeks to fix. I was worried that history would repeat itself, but my other uncles eventually convinced me to give him another chance."
